I can't believe how divided people are politically, culturally. Scary.

Nothing will get done for two years, which may be a good thing. The politicians will be too busy fighting with each other to spend much time dreaming up new ways to waste money and pander to voters.

A fresh change to some extent, possibly sanity. Currently, we all seem to be rushing headlong to our deaths, blinded by the light, the moths we are. A real long "coffee break" so to speak, a smoke and a think about a whole lot of twaddle the last administration peddeled?. It would not do any harm in fact, to put the USA in the most unenviable position of now, having to say, to the whole world, "Sorry...Our brothers got way out of line here, and when we smelt a rat, 'sorry' no longer cut it..add infinitum". Let the world see that ALL of us had humble beginnings. Enough blood spilled !

They could start by impeaching Bush. Seriously. If the Republicans can waste 65 million dollars of tax payer's money to investigate President Clinton lying about getting a hummer, then why doesn't the same thing happen when this president lies about why we're going to war with other countries. You think the latter would be much more serious, if you have half a brain that is.

Unless they take it in a landslide I doubt that anything will change at all. We are seeing more and more Republicans shunning the president, and Democrats trying to make nice with him. I don't think that either party's agenda is clear at this point and that what we've got here is a big mess. It would be nice to get some independants in office but i doubt we will see this any time soon.

Well they will stop all the bad laws that are coming down the pipe (Like that latest free trade agreement with some Arab countries). If they manage to impeach Bush I think we would get a timetable for getting out of Iraq. Maybe run back some of these torture bills. I think middle class people would be relieved.

Nothing much. Congress will continue its arrogant, corrupt, evil, incompetent, contemptible ways without regard for its job of serving the American people. Republicrats will remain beholden to this country's wealthy elitists, special interest groups, lobbyists, and big business interests. Members of Congress will continue getting their automatic cost-of-living pay increases for doing absolutely nothing productive, and politicians will continue sucking off the taxpayers' teat. -RKO-

It is called ACCOUNTABILITY. It is called no more lying by the Administration without being called to testify before Congress. No more coverups without an investigation.
