For starts Bush's nation-building experiment has created a human-rights Frankenstein and made many Iraqis long for the more gentle days under the regime of Saddam Hussein, the "dictator" Bush ousted so we could brings the joys of "freedom" there.
And while we are exporting " freedom" we are building a police state here at home.

Blame his incompetent mind for causing him to lose touch with reality! Can't you see him screwing everything up and he just doesn't know it?! What about the mess he made in Iraq? That's right, folks! His incompetency has allowed more than 2,700 of our soldiers to be killed in his war to get the black Iraqi gold. Who benefits from it? His buddies, the executives from the major oil companies, including Halliburton, are extracting every single drop of the oil from Iraqi soil! This is done at the expense of the dead soldiers as well as slain Iraqi securoty forces and thousands of civilians! They already have the victims' blood in their hands!!!!!!Can't that fool ever get the message through his thick, incompetent 60-year-old skull! While Bush is forcing democracy elsewhere, he's turning this 230-year-old democracy of ours into a police state with those so-called post-9/11 policies that will screw us out of our Constitutional rights! And they are being slowly eroding away as I'm answering this question!!!! You ought to know the rest of the freaking story from here!

First of alll, I don't think ANY of our political leaders have a freaking clue when it comes to being "in touch" with anything but your wallet or their congressional page.

Second of all, the only people longing for "gentle days" under Saddam were the sunni baathists. They didn't wind up in the rape rooms or the plastic shredders.

Third of all, If you seriously believe we're building a police state here at home, you're an idiot - no comments will inform you beyond your paranoid delusion...

Thanks for the 2 points...

How many Iraqis do you know want to be ruled by Saddam? He once gassed 3,000 Kurds in prisons and his round up campaigns killed 150,000-180,000 more. Iraqis remember this and I assure you, things were not better off with Saddam. But I do agree Bush and the rest of the men in power have made very poor decisions and are sitting on their hands when it comes too many things so aside from the Iraq situation I agree with you.

Did Saddam Hussein under-estimate the lengths George Bush and the Oil Company's would go to? He really must have thought the world would not stand by and let a Illegal invasion take place...but sure as hell they did.
What we are witnessing in Iraq is nothing short of the Worlds largest crime spree!

So cons are out of contact because they help McCain, yet circuitously you're all enlighted because you'e balloting for a candidate with in elementary words 143 days of federal authorities journey? are you able to assert BANDWAGON? next i think you're going to inform me that you're a sparkling England Patriots fan, yet are not truly from New England! base line is that you do not ought to accept as true with conservatives, in simple terms as i do not accept as true with Liberals. yet i imagine that possibly you're taking it too some distance. The liberal left does no longer own the moral intense floor even as it contains being in contact with u.s.. favor I remind you that your democrat controled congress has a decrease approval score than the president?

Yes. Saddam can't live forever. The people of Iraq like other countries suppressed of freedom need to really want it and ask for it. Bush's revealing agenda was to get him and his cronies money, profit and control of the Middle East.

Yep! Him and the rest of the rep/cons right. But that does not mean that they are not dangerous. We as liberals should get weapons, learn self defense, and be ready to kill these war mongers because that is what they would like to do to us. We need to be ready. Now, every one knows that we are smarter then them but at this point they have bigger guns (ARA) which makes them feel smug and superior (nothing worse then a dumb person who fells smug and Superior) even if they are fat ******/child molesters. Mostly I'm parodying the situation but republicans, don't think we won't kick your honky asses if we have to.

well this question is probably based on opinion since there are no Iraqi's to answer it.Could you post this to them and ask what there opinion is???..I'll bet your way off,and unfortunatly I believe the crime element such as gangs, drugs etc(Mostly morons )are whats making this a police state, remember when you could drink on a beach,go cruising on a saturday night etc,but I guess its easier to blame Bush for everything...so be it

The U.S. had very few presidents that were listed as being in touch with reality.
