Okay, this isn't a serious question, but you all seemed so uptight. So respond, get your 2 points, and smile while you're doing it. Oh and, you don't really have to refer to the question, I am hoping to not get a visual.

Couldn't we fix the social security "crisis" by implementing progressive taxation? Or taxing major corporations? Or even cutting a little military spending? The government could support the baby boomers through day cares, elementary schools, and high schools. In fact, there was a huge increase in funding for schools and other childrens' programs in the 60's. And we're actually richer now than we were then, can't we support them through retirement? Why attack social security?

Sir Winston Churchil - He opposed his own party to warn of what he thought was an imediate threat despite all pressure to the contrary he kept it up . A powerful speaker that kept the English people going taunted the Americans to help and kept the entire Empire at his side though very harsh times.

Sir Issac Brock He refused to blow up well heads in Scotland despite orders from his superiors because "he did not join His Majesty's army to do such horrible things" and later commanded the British military in Canada to a stunning victory where he lost his life.

Sgt Sam Steele of the North West Mounted Police - Who in trying to keep law and order in Canada's far north durring the gold rush said "There are many questionable things going on here and it is difficult to keep law and order amongst the Americans who are here but I am confident that these things do not happen on a Sunday". - Just where these days do you hear that kind of honesty ever?

So thats my three and yours?

I can't even imagine how this administration would have handled the disaster had it hit white, affluent neigbhborhoods. We can transport hundreds of military tanks to Iraq but we can't deliver water to poor people in the good ole USA.For all the black people that voted for Bush, when Katrina hit, Bush''s true colors showed up. The people of New Orleans were not treated as a priority. Is there anyone out there that is as sickened as I am. And they say Racism isn't prevalent.

Would it really affect us if we declared our neutrality in a region that seems to be the antithesis of all that this country is about? I like Israel but shouldn't they support themselves? We only get about 10 percent of our oil directly from there anyway. I don't think any of these places, excepting Afghanistan are worth American blood. What are your thoughts? If they do their thing and we do our thing and no one bothers each other, would that be bad?

Palastinians? Why do we support these policies under the name of “democracy and Freedom”? How do we see democracy? Why do we always have double and sometimes triple standards? Why is it that whenever any of us even dares to criticize the crimes of Israel he is labeled as an “anti-Semite”? Please remember that this has nothing to do with Judaism as a noble religion. It has everything to do with a gang of war criminals that hijacked Judaism and are now acting in its name. Many Jews all over the world do not approve of what this Zionest gang is doing in the name of their religion.

BUCHAREST, Romania (AP) -- A Romanian oil rig off the coast of Iran came under fire from an Iranian warship and was later occupied by Iranian troops, a company spokesman said.

The Iranians first fired into the air and then fired at the Orizont rig, said GSP spokesman Radu Petrescu. Half an hour later, troops from the ship boarded and occupied the rig and the company lost contact with the 26 crew members shortly afterward.

Petrescu said he had no information about any injuries or deaths. The Orizont rig has been moored near the Kish island in the Persian Gulf since October 2005, he told the Associated Press.

Eugen Chira, the political consul at the Romanian Embassy in Tehran confirmed the incident, but provided few details.

"Some forces opened fire. That an incident has happened is true. We have no details or the reason yet," he said.
