The less the government does for anyone the better.

Why does everyone think they need the government to do stuff for them? Damn I hate that mind set. I don't want the republicans or the Democrats to do ANYTHING for me! Well except their job which is to protect us from foreign and domestic enemies. If I had it my way the government would rotate people in and out much faster then they do. Every politician would work in Washington 6 months then have to have a REAL job the rest of the year. They wouldn't be in charge of anything like education or prescription drugs or social security! We would let them tax us enough to keep a good military and to pay them a "living wage" and be accountable for every dollar they take from us! Just let me have the freedom to live my life as long as I obey the laws of the land. Things like education would be much better off and run so much better on a local level. But the way it is makes me want to scream sometimes. And the way people think. But that's just me no offense meant. Of course family values count but do you really want a government of lifer politicians to tell you what those values should be and which ones are politically correct to use? I sure don't. The less the government is in my life the better. Heck the way this government is now if it were put in charge of the Sahara Desert it would run out of sand in 5 years.

Nothing. Republicans have abused them by having them contribute to their campaigns, only to have that money be used to finance their luxury trips to Gold Island to eat Golden Dodo Eggs.
