but how do u cope with people like leg pullers; who are more interested in restraining in other peoples effort rather than doing something useful for others

im not anti-war but i believe bush has made sooooo many mistakes and makes a fool of himself everytime he opens his mouth -he is an embarassment to our country- he is on best week ever every week because they are making fun of him - and he is our president. Then the second anyone on here says something someone doesnt like about him they take it sooo personally - we are not not speaking of the Lord and our savior- then i could see where someone would take offense then- but we are speaking of someone in quite a different end of the spectrum. But it seems no matter what the man does there are still some verrry republican ppl who get soooo mad if you say you dislike him and they pretty much treat you like you are stupid and uninformed and just fooled by media BS - a great example of a person like this is Elizabeth Hasselbeck from the view. I appreciate that she has an oppinion but geeez she acts like everyone else who dislikes Bush should be struck by lightning!!

bin laden and his henchmen dont mind waiting , they are quite happy to wait years till our defences go down, just because no attacks have taken place since 9/11, do not think that we are home and dry

I agree with the democrat's solution:

"Our soldiers in Iraq should transition to a more limited mission focused on counterterrorism, force protection of U.S. personnel and training and logistical support of Iraqi security forces," House Democratic Leader Nancy Pelosi said.

This is how I see the republican direction in Iraq = failure:

Senate Democratic Leader Harry Reid said, "Far from spreading freedom and democracy in the Middle East, the Bush administration has watched while extremists grow stronger,
Iran goes nuclear, Iraq falls into civil war and oil and gas prices skyrocket. Simply staying the course is unacceptable."

Do you think Israel won the war?
Do you think you are winning the war on terrorism?

Come on, give us all a good laugh.

In the last two weeks the top U.S. military commander in the Middle East has said Iraq could move towards civil war (1) and a leaked memo from Britain's top diplomat in Iraq has said civil war is the MOST LIKELY outcome (2).

Although Blair is a fool at least he urged more intensive planning for the aftermath of the Iraq war.

I had an arguement with a friend, and we were discussing how polictians childern and thier families DON'T GO to war or they have governmetn agencies protecting them. I want to know do you think the lives of our politicians are more important than yours? Would you rather them sacrafice our lives so they can stay alive?

Actually I know why. It's because the democrats are sucking the ***** of the American auto unions, & the Bush Administration is a puppet of big oil. Our grand kids will be dealing with this problem

When Fidel was about to drop dead they were telling the United States that they shouldn't invade cuba since it was none of their business. Aren't the chinese the same people who are trying to capture nations that surround them such as Taiwan? Then they preach to us about not getting involved in other countrys' business.

I can't believe how hypocritical this world is.

In some cases I think we are actually are in the middle of World War III right now. I think historians are going to look back at this time and label it as the 3rd world war. With almost ever country somehow involved with a conflict that all interlaces together and is pitted around Global Terror. Congo, Philippines, Israel, Lebanon, Iraq, Chechnya, Afghanistan, Somalia, and Indonesia with active conflicts. Korea, Iran, Syria, Venezuela, Cuba, India and Pakistan with conflicts set to a low boil. Not to mention many nations on the edge of civil war, at what point do we classify the world state?

to the "experts" when it comes to Iran now and what we should do (if anything) about Iran. These experts, like Bill Kristol, VP Cheney, Paul Wolfowitz, Sean Hannity, Joe Liberman, a cadre of pundits on CNN, FOX, NBC said that:
1. We would be greeted as liberators
2. We would be out of there in less than a year
3. Iraq has WMD's and we know exactly where they are
4. Iraq tried to buy nuclear weapons
5. Attacking Iraq will reduce terrorism
6. The war will not cost over $600 million
All these turned out to be greatly and terribly wrong, yet these same people are on every news show, and in every news article advising on what to do about Iran.
Why are they still thought to be credible? And why is it that anyone who points this out is said to be "anti-American and not serious about safety or terrorism."
*Yes, Democrats voted for the war so this goes for them too
*Bush admitted Iraq had nothing to do with 9/11
