If conservative means keeping things the same, how can they actively promote change? It doesn't even mean returning to old ways when they return to government, which you could say was conservative. Perhaps 'New Conservativism' is on the cards???

House passes minimum wage hike, estate tax cut
WASHINGTON (CNN) -- By a vote of 230-180, the House gave the go-ahead early Saturday to legislation that gradually boosts the minimum wage from $5.15 to $7.25 an hour, phased over three years.

The measure also included a cut in the federal inheritance tax mostly paid by the wealthy.

Republican leaders made the minimum wage increase more palatable to their ranks by attaching it to a package of tax cuts they've been pushing, including a major reduction in the estate tax. (Posted 2:30 a.m.)

As Israel has within Palestine ? We displaced "genocidally" millions of Indigenous peoples to populate North America.. if they came in with the UN and said give us Rhode Island..would that be acceptable ? This was a quote from a Lebanese Princess. I just won't to point out that here in America in the deep south we had a group called the KKK or Klu Klux Klan. They also did good deeds for the southern communities and were liked by most southerners. BUT they also attacked, threatened, BURNED CROSSES, and killed Black Americans. It took way too long but the KKK was eventually condemned and disbanded. I deem Hezbollah as the same type of organization. The good they may do is OUTWEIGHED by the terrorist attacks they carry out on innocent Israelies. We took them out ourselves.

why does Israel always brain wash the world that it is the victim and in constant threat to be destroyed when it proved that it can annihilate any country of the middle east whenever it wants without any single opposition from anyone ? I'm a 13 year old jewish girl and I am very proud of my jewish heritage. What I'm trying to understand is why everyone won't let Israel be Israel. We weren't doing anything to them(the countries around Israel) and they were just jelous that we got some land. GROW UP!!! We aren't giving up anytime soon.
