Hitorically 'Israel' and being 'right' do not go together.
Both are poles apart.
This is no retort.

If thats all you think this is over than you need to pay a little more
attention to what is going on in this world. Go to a few different
news sources and get some information. Israel is defending itself.
If people have a problem with that then they shouldn't fire
rockets into another country and that is at the very least. I won't
go into all the details because it would take too long, but 1 thing
you could take a look at is the resolution 1559 which was set
by the U.N. that Lebanon failed to carry out.

Israel begged Lebanon to secure the borders so the bombing
would stop. Lebanon refused to put her army on the southern
border to stop Hezbollah so the Israelis now have to go after
Hezbollah where ever they are and innocents are being hurt
on both sides. If Lebanon and Syria and Iran would stand up
for what is right, the deal would be done. But the truth is they
want Hezbollah to destroy Israel. So there you are.

If it was only the two soldiers I would say not really. But that is not the reason this is happening. The Hezbollah intentionally went into Israel and killed 5 soldiers and captured two in order to make Israel retaliate. They wanted and were ready for this war. Unfortunately, they did not inform Lebanon of this. And again, unfortunately, since the Lebanese government allowed Hezbollah to train and arm on their land, they are as responsible as Hezbollah is for this war. I feel sorry for the civilians caught in this war. They are suffering on both sides and we cry about this. But do not make the mistake of thinking that Israel is wrong here. The Hezbollah wanted this and they now have it!

mohammed , it much more than these three soldiers. it's constantly being fired on from another country and not being able to strike back. 6 years have gone by since israel left lebanon and the government has done nothing to control hezbollah. hamas and hezbollah are terrorist groups that want the destruction of a legal state , israel. i feel badly for the lebanese but they allowed hezbollah operate in they're country. i also haven't forgotten the killed 241 marines in beruit. only dialog between israel and lebanon will end this. hezbollah is the tool of iran

Yes! Israel's policy of Massive Retaliation is no secret in the Mideast Region. So when the people of Lebanon voted for Hezbollah and allowed them to place weapons in civilian neighborhoods and homes they were playing with fire. You can't play with fire and whine when you get burned. Only children and cowads cry when the logical consequences of their actions are visited upon them.

Lebanon deserves the destruction it is now receiving.
If you sow the wind, you will reap a whirlwind. God is using Israel to show the Muslim world that Islam is inspired by Satan, not Allah.

Yes. How many innocent Israelis have been slaughtered by suicide bombers from Hamas & Hezbollah over the past 60 years. The ME nations are like little childern fighting over the same toy in the sand box. It is time for Mama Bear (Israel) to to use a lot of capital punishment on the children to get them to a act civilized. Cease Fire Time Outs have not and will not work for terrorists and the nations that support terrorists.

First you are obviously twisting the truth. Yes Israel is correct to defend itself against acts of terrorism by Hezbollah. The deaths of innocents on both sides can be blamed on Hezbollah where it belongs. If hezbollah diarms according to U.N. mandate years ago and returns Israel there soldiers who were kidnapped from there own country while others were killed Isreal would cease fire..Israel seeks peace and unfortunately the only way to survive with those who would destry her is to attack.

It wasnt because of the 2 prisoners, if that was the case the new state of palistine would be destroyed as well. It was to push the hizbollahs dogs further back since the lebanese government didnt have backbone enough to keep there promise on the original cease fire.

Israel has the right to defend itself. Israel has the right to go after Hezbollah because they kidnapped Israeli soldiers, killed Israeli soldiers, and have fired hundreds of rockets into Israel, which is killing Innocent people in Israel. Hezbollah has no right to be in Lebanon. They have no right to hide behind the innocent woman and children of Lebanon. Hezbollah has no right to kill Israelis.
