I'm a 13 year old jewish girl and I am very proud of my jewish heritage. What I'm trying to understand is why everyone won't let Israel be Israel. We weren't doing anything to them(the countries around Israel) and they were just jelous that we got some land. GROW UP!!! We aren't giving up anytime soon.

Actually, useyourmind, My great uncle was in a concentration camp, starving and near death. The only thing he had going for him was that he made shoes. The nazis needed him to make money, so they trusted him and let him out of the camps to bring shoes to companys. One day, when he felt is could save his life, he left... and never went back. If my great uncle hadn't escaped, I wouldn't be here right now.

Yeah, I though so. I guess the only good thing about the camps is that is caused me to be alive right now, but I would gladly give my life just so those 6 million Jews and 6 million other INNOCENT people could be alive right now.

Sweetie. I have an 8 yr old son and have tried to explain to him, as I will to you. Be very proud of your Jewish heritage. Don't let anyone put you down. Israel is retaliating against terrorists who trespassed into Israel, kidnapped its citizens and started bombing its cities. Israel has every right to protect itself and we have every duty to support Israel.

The Arabs are jealous because we were able to make that land bloom and produce, whereas if you look at the Arab lands, they are still mostly dry and non-productive. The only thing Arabs have going for them is that there is oil in some of their countries. That is pure luck on their part, but they are able to control many countries that way, because there is a limited supply of oil. We must support development of alternative fuel sources so the world will not have to rely on Arab oil. Once that happens, Arabs will have no power against the world.

Arabs claim that they lived in Israel before the Jews, but that is a lie. Jews have always lived there. Many Arabs claim to be Palestinian, but are not.

I hope one day that you can go to Israel and see, for yourself, how tiny the country is, but how much beauty there is, and all the sites of Judaism that exist there.

Be strong, sweetie, and be proud!

The people themselves did nothing.

There is big money in war. Supplying weapons to the warring factions is very profitable. The Western world has a vested interest in making sure the wars continue. The biggesst supplier is the United States.

Nobody can fix this except Israel itself. Israel must make friends with all the others, regardless of who started it.

The United States must get out of the Middle East.

For some, the mere existence of Israel is enough to drive them over the edge, willing to do anything to hurt them
Some people won't rest until Israel is wiped off the face of the earth
Good thing Israel has an awesome military :)

Dear 13 year old jewish girl

You might find the answer from a 13 year old Lebanese or Palestinian girl who lost her father or mother or her baby brother or sister or all in her family because your nation [Israel] has been killing them with or without provocation right from the time your nation was established. Your nation has been grabbing their lands and driving them out of their homes and taking their lives even without reason all these years.

In all probability these killings were done by someone in your own family too. Please do talk to your elders and find out how many of them have a direct hand in this.

You might get your answer.

But I wonder how many LIVING Lebanese or Palestinian 13 year old girls will you find living to tell you all this.

In a sea of dictatorships, we find a speck of freedom – Israel. Both Israel & the US recognize essential facts & requirements of life: freewill, individual rights (to some extent) and productivity...

We have commonality on one side (Israel, USA, England, Australia...) some degree of freedom and support for individual rights. On the other side (Iran, Iran, Iran, Syria, Palestine (something less than a state)...), we have a coalition of mobs that embrace hatred (fear) of those freedoms, and prefer dictatorships and universal force of might over mind. In a word, it's a clash of man as an independent freewill entity vs. a savage slave to mystic collectivism. I prefer to live in a state that permits independent man to thrive. Israel is vastly freer than anything Hezbollah would ever embrace.

The Israelis have a DIFFERENT religion. And the supporters of "Islam, The Religion of Peace" think that is a capital offense.

The Arab/Muslim people have never been known to be tolerant. They still live in the 14th Century. They still think it is ok to execute a Muslim if they convert to another religion! Don't bother trying to understand that which is not understanable.

I pray for the Peace of Jerusalem!

It's the middle east. To error is human but to forgive is not my policy, or my parents, or my grand parents... cousin etc. You can be a peaceful society but if another culture harbors ill will because of the flack that was between your ancestors and theirs, it creates problems. There can never be peace unless all sides want it. Prejudice comes in many forms and disguises.

They have been fighting some one Since the Egyptians had Pharaohs. The hostility is passed down from one generation to another- similar to the Hatfield's and McCoys. There will always be fighting, so its best to duck for cover.

It was our land for hundreds of years ... then you took it in a couple of days and forced us out of our homes. Are you joking ? You treat us like animals and expect no reaction ? Read some history about your people .
