That was done during Taliban rule in Afghanistan. Soccer stadium was payed for by British Government funding. They thought if people get involved in sports, they will "forget" to prosecute human rights fighters...yeah, right....As far as I know, no liberals ever supported Taliban government. If you are speaking of some other government, please enlighten me, because I'm not aware of it.

dude, wtf r u talking about?we dont support a gov. that does that. however, conservatives support a government that invades contries to boost the money they get off of their oil fields, and call it "spreading democracy". if i remember right, u went to war w/ countries just a little while ago (remember those to wars, Korea and Vietnam?), for spreading their government (communism). what makes one different than the other?
