How will it be remembered in 20 years after it self-destructs and the Democrats are in full power? Will it be seen as the racist, corrupt, immoral party that prevailed in the darkest years of the USA?

We know the US will eventually be 80% liberal so it only makes sense that the GOP will cease to exist as its pseudo-values will no longer have an impact.

You’re the richest conservative in the country. You buy yourself your own television network.

You fill your programming up with mindless T&A for the guys, mindless Hunks for the girls. You go right after the 15 to 30 crowd, knowing fully that they are the ones least likely to take the time to learn both sides of any issue, to study the real facts. You go after these because you know you can easily manipulate their minds and that they’ll mostly vote the way you tell them to.

Then you tell them what’s right, according to your own agenda. And they believe you. They believe you because you're giving them what they want, T&A for the dudes, STUDS for the chicks.

If there were a Nobel Prize for Marketing Murdock would have won it easily.

So the Democrats were supposed to come out with a "plan" in 2005. Then they said "2006." Now Harry Reed and Nancy Pelosi said they will have a "Unified Democratic Plan" in September.

Can you explain to me the "plan"? Is this "plan" just more rhetoric, is it rewording of Republican "plans", or is it just a bulleted list of problems in the US? What is the point of this 'Plan'???

To announce that there must be no criticism of the president, or that we are to stand by the president right or wrong, is not only unpatriotic and servile, but is morally treasonable to the American public.

The Iraq situation is not a WAR, it's an INVASION. We have an army INVADING a country and a bunch of lunatic INSURGENTS with hand weapons, homemade grenades, and other mundane weapons are attacking us. They have no tanks, artillery, or planes so this is NOT a war. Get your terms straight.

I have been disconnected from the newspapers, TV, and Internet for three weeks, and all of a suddent there's something huge going on with Hezzbolla and Isreal. It so confusing trying to read the latest news when I don't have the background knowledge of what has already happened. So... can anyone clue me in on the basics?

1. Putting your hatred of Bush aside
2. For the good of our Country.
3. Not compete but RELATIVE victory however that may look.

If you do wish for victory... don't you think we should stand behind our President with some support ?

I have been hearing about some ultra right wing nut bags that are protesting at the funerals of our slain soliders. Is it their right to disrupt the funeral services of these brave soliders or are they just disturbing the peace and basically making fools of themselves?
