I don't know about the rest of the answer but this porrtion isn't right. The Queen of England is the head of state and church and in British commonwealth countries thier has never been an official seperation of church and state - It the USA that did that.

Religion Church and state is embodied in one person throughout the commonwealth- that said the church part died on it's own of apathy and the general realisation it's f-c-e- but it's still on the books not that you have seen any evidence of it nor will you in your lifetime doen't mean it isn't there

Plus Its an International law that Politics cannot be mixed with Religion

More than half the Jewish population of Israel - 53 percent - is opposed to full equal rights for Israeli Arabs

Of course Israel is democratic. It is the only democracy in the
Middle East. Any Israeli citizen can vote and there are even
Arabs in the Knesset. Almost a million Arab citizens in Israel.
If Israel doesn't treat them fairly, they can move next door
to Jordan, or Egypt, or Lebanon, or Syria, HA, Fat Chance!!!
Arab Israeli citizens stay in Israel because they are treated
better than any where else in the Middle East. They know it,
we know it, the Israelis know it, and now so do you.

Search the web, go some place, do something, but do a little
research before making unfair, imbecilic statements, please.

Yahoo! Answers is a great venue for education, friendship,
entertainment etc. But please don't try and make it a forum
for hatred.

I Corinthians 13;8a, Love never fails!!!
GO ISRAEL!!! HALLELUJAH!!! JESUS IS LORD!!!

EDIT: Amazing. Not one Jew left in Gush Kativ, but plenty
Arab-Israeli citizens living comfortably in Israel, just food for thought.

In israel you can be any religion you want. The majority is Jewis, but there are alot of Catholic people and baptist. Some areas are fanatic (extreme love at point of insanity) and they might hurt you IF they discover ir you have baptised into other relition, So yes, Israel is democratic. All can vote becouse if a native Jewish (all family is jewish and follow all customs and was born in Israel) baptises into any religion he or she can still vote. Plus Its an International law that Politics cannot be mixed with Religion

All Israeli citizens are able to vote, men and women (unlike some of their neighbours), religious and non religious. There are three Muslim K.M.P.s voted in, presumably by the one point three million Arabs who live within Israel and who choose not to leave as life is infinitely better for them in Israel than in the PA controlled areas. In Jordan, as far as I am aware, you cannot be a Jordanian Citizen and Jewish. Did anyone note that when the settlers were being moved out of northern Gaza the PA did not ask them to stay and continue with their successful farming. So no Jews there.

Arabs (christian and muslim) within Israel itself can vote.

However, in the occupied territories, Palestinians pay the Israelis taxes so that they can demolish their homes...

It's a funny kind of neo-Apartheid.
