It sure would be a nice national treasure to hear the inner workings of the bush administration and how they decided policies and how their meetings went on strategies to take in dealing with the problems they faced.

Like a fly on the wall in all those meetings that Bush, Cheney, Rove, Rumsfeld, Alberto Gonzales took part in.

Unflipping believable... this congress rolls, over plays dead and thats all they have done since they started ! They are irrelevant to the polital process. JUST STAY ON VACATION PERMANENTLY !!! You guys are just giving up your sole authority to protect the public, you just might as well dont come back.

Quote from movie "V" :

"And the truth is, there is something terribly wrong with this country, isn't there? Cruelty and injustice, intolerance and oppression. And where once you had the freedom to object, to think and speak as you saw fit, you now have censors and systems of surveillance coercing your conformity and soliciting your submission. How did this happen? Who's to blame? Well certainly there are those more responsible than others, and they will be held accountable, but again truth be told, if you're looking for the guilty, you need only look into a mirror."

Giving them all time off would stop spending and let present laws work. In twenty years the old ones will die off and we will have fresh blood and new ideas. We could rebuild the U.S.(long time over due) with the money we are saving. What do you think?

It is not my personal opinion, but there are reasons why it may be. Americans say their country is the best, however, they have the less healthy people, one of the highest birth dead rate, the worst health care system in a developed country, and one of the less balanced economy, the most expensive medications, etc.

What if some one say "I have the best woman in the world, my woman is even better than yours, and than everyone's woman.", However, you woman may be the fattest, invade other women's house.

Now, if you say "my woman is the best woman for me" then people wont dislike you, because now you say it is the best, but only for yourself.

Can you name two subject in which USA is number one in the world? And don't say freedom. Because if you are called "without patriotism" for questioning your government, you don't have freedom. And many country have freedom. Nor economy, even thought it is the country with more money, it is also the one where people have to work the most.

I don't need some unaccountable, corrupt politicians (aka "Government") telling me how to live my life and I will never see them as 'my leader/s'. Do we even need a Government or wouldnt we be better off doing away with them all, altogether??

...no public school system, and the top 1% own 90% of the nation's wealth? All I can think of is Haiti. It follows the model of what right wingers think would be an improvement on our system.

Bush has promised to help Minneapolis rebuild after the bridge collapse. Does anyone think he's not lying like he was when he promised help to the city of New Orleans after Katrena?

all over the news it only talks about the war, so we just don't watch it anymore but then something new comes on. thats why we don't know anything about the very world we live in. i think its quit simple, in order to understand the world around us, we must understand ourselves. do you agree that americans pay more attention to other countries?

i must have a point, you see how much our government has changed. even without our permission. laws being passed and rights being demolished.

Since we exhale CO2, increasing our "carbon footprint," will they someday require us all to wear breath counters and those who exhale more than the law allows will pay a breathing tax? Would they curtail cardio workouts and all sports for producing too much breathing and exhaling?

Now I realize the true meaning in the film's title, "Waiting to Exhale." Maybe they'll make it like the power companies: Peak time during the day and off-peak at night...hence, we'll all be waiting to exhale.

Now Bush is trying to intimidate presidential candidates in order to silence criticism of his failures in the fight against terrorism.

Americans have a right to speak their minds--whether the Bush regime likes it or not.

I responded to a question today where I told of my support for the Global War on Terrorism. I mentioned that I am a U.S. Soldier. The person who asked the question then added this,

"To Voice of Liberty--I hope and pray something happens to you while you "defend" our country and you get discharged at the convenience of the military."

This person was asking the question as an expression of his Liberal beliefs. Why is it that I never see Conservatives say evil, hurtful things such as this guy did? Especially to someone who is willing to fight for and die for HIS freedoms.

The following verse is from the Koran ( the Islamic bible)
Koran 9:11 - For it is written a son of Arabia would awaken a fearsome Eagle. The wrath of the Eagle would be felt throughout the lands of Allah and lo, while some of the people trembled in despair still more rejoiced; for the wrath of the Eagle cleansed the lands of Allah; and there was peace.
( note the verse number) Hmmmmmmmmmm?!

Minnesota seems to have enough money to build $1 billion football stadiums, but it's Bush's fault that their bridges are collapsing. I think the survivors and the families of those who died at least deserve a couple tickets to a Vikings game, don't you?
