Think of how much money we as tax payers would save in upkeep, security, and utilities. Good question. Why can't our Government function out of a strip mall instead of old buildings that have cathedral ceilings and waste more energy and money than Bush himself?

It is always a shame to lose beautiful architecture for the sake of getting at the people inside, or for ridiculous senses of purpose (ie. religion, of all things!)...however, in the case of GW & his Administrative wonders...I'd say Go for it!!! LOL
Seriously...terrorists revel in media attention & we give them every bit of that, don't we? I prefer the bow & arrow to the gun method...gets the job done, little other destruction, shows greater skill, effort, & sense of purpose...quieter, too.
