Actually no cbg, I think Bush will rebuild Minneapolis sooner, more votes more likely up north in the midwest than in La. yeah I'm a cynic when it comes to GOP politics.

Okay, so he asks congress to include x amounts of money to rebuild New Orleans, and the city decides to use it for walkways and tourist stuff?
THe federal government allocates money for states to take care of these Army Corps projects (that are federal) and if the states do not keep up with their own maintenance or use some of their own state funds for public safety....how is that the Federal Government's fault? Or should I say a president, who includes it into a budget? Did he fly down and then say, NO I take it back?
When the government "promises" it means introducing a bill or budget appropriations. Did you take American Government in high school or college, or did the standards of "community education" seriously dumb down?
See what a problem "using money to fix a problem" is?

There has been a ton of aid dump into New Orleans but it takes people to take responiblity.
Note the difference in Minneapolis people got out their cars and start helping each other to safety.
In KS with its twister that level the town before the sun was up people where in homes and the roads were cleared.
Schools in MS were back in session before New Orleans.
Maybe the governor of LA and Mayor Naggin should have been working on the disaster than trying to blame Bush.

You have so many double negatives here, I'm not sure what you're saying.
You can't possibly think that the Federal Government hasn't helped out in NO after the hurricanes, can you?
You don't get out much, do you?

his mother the former first lady, believes that the people of New Orleans are better off since Katrina, so he will probably think that they didn't need that bridge anyway.

Bush never lies! He just repeats what his daddy and the others tell him to say!
The man is not intelligent enough to have an original thought of his own!
