Why can the bible stop 2 people from getting married. It has been proven unconstitutional to use religion to deny the right to vote, or allow slavery. Why is it acceptable to use religion to stop 2 men from being married?

From what I remember, Exodus 24:10-16 and 2 Corinthians 6:14 were used as "biblical justification" for banning interreligious marriage in the US for some time.

Should we disallow people of different religion to get married because it is in the bible?

Not to mention wearing clothes made out of more than two types of fabrics, shaving, cutting your hair or keeping it long, or even planting two types of crop on a single plot of land. Honestly, no Christian I have ever seen follows the Bible, why should everyone else have to?

I simply do not understand why the bible can be used to justify marriage... why does 1 religion dictate everyone else's life???

I am not gay. Please do not tell me that homosexuality is an abomination, it's a garbage excuse.

I mean 'Sir' Elton John thinks we should all get rid of the internet and Sharon Crow thinks we should only use one square of toilet paper and Ted Kennedy thinks everyone with an extra bedroom should rent it out to an illegal.
And Hillary Clinton thinks all of the African Americans who are currently locked up in prison should be released and given executive jobs instead.
The Global Warming Fanatics thinks we should revert back to the stone age in order to save our planet and Condi Lisa Rice thinks Israel would have peace if only they'd hand their land over to their enemy's on a silver plater.
I mean if they were left to their own devices and allowed to shape the world into what they believe to be 'perfect' what do you think it would be like?

I mean the bridge in Minnesota was a horrible tragedy, but were you surprised that if there are as many bridges in the US that are have corrosion that there was this tragedy? Doesn't it take a tragedy to finally have anyone do anything about a real problem?

I sure remember those days.... The chattering classes in an uproar over Reagan's "counterproductive" speeches and for sure that two bit actor moron without an Ivy League education and no brains to speak of could only drive us to annihilation by the mighty Soviets. Him and his clueless, dunderhead idiot Brit friend and ally Margaret Thatcher were just two dumb peas in a pod.

I mean, it sure has worked out nicely for the left - everyone's talking about how little effort the Bush administration has put into maintaining infrastructure, and how the money spent in Iraq might have been put to better use right here at home. Does this suggest a liberal conspiracy?

and to also change your route to work every so often says Mossad agent Juval Aviv.

"Those people who were close to the bombs died, then others were injured or died from inhaling the toxic fumes or getting trampled. The reason you take a bottle of water and a towel is that if you wet the towel and put it over your face, you can protect yourself against the fumes and get yourself out of there."

Now we have former Israeli Juval Aviv intelligence shilling for FAUX News and "catapulting the propaganda" as BushFraud likes to say. Here is the background on Juval Aviv:

"Before founding Interfor, Mr Aviv served as an officer in the Israeli Defence Force (Major, retired), leading an elite commando/intelligence unit, and was later selected by the Israeli Secret Service (Mossad) to participate in a number of intelligence and special operations in many countries in the late 1960s and 1970s."
