How about our lives?? to live in peace?? KAtrina victims didnt win a insurance lawsuit but yet wwe spend millions at war. what do U think????

No I don't. Then again I really find it hard to "hate" people I don't know....Maybe if people like you actually listened to what people said instead of stereotyping and name calling maybe there would be some room for discussion. I am retired Navy...probably a lot more than you could say about service to this country....I am for finishing the job...whatever it takes, because I understand what the consequences of not doing that are...did I agree with going in in the first place? NO it was an idiotic move...it was poorly planned and executed...and it is really tough to fix such major blunders..but the fact is we did go there and now we must make it right.

Seems you're making a lot of assumptions there. How do you know they aren't in the military and just not deployed. Since identifying themselves as a member of the military when engaged in political debate is a UCMJ violation they wouldn't tell you. (I believe that prohibition exists to prevent individuals from portraying private opinions as official policy)
How do you know they aren't former members of the military who are too old for active service. How do you know they aren't disabled vet's sitting on-line while waiting for their next PT session at the hospital.
All your question shows is that, like all narrow minded bigots, you can't say anything without letting your own unthinking prejudice show.
Seems I recall reading about your kind somewhere, oh yea, it was in Germany about 75 years ago. Of course then they were identifiable by the brown shirts they wore.

I have conservative ideals, morals, and ethics, I don't support the war, but I support our troops.
I think Bush is a stupid, ignorant, overbearing monkey
I am a republican, but right now I would like a democratic president to "shake things up a bit"
I don't eat potato chips, twinkies make you fat, & I may be a little lazy
I don't like to fight that's why I don't enlist. But I think war is interesting.
To those of you who think all conservatives are the same. You can kiss my *** and jump off a bridge.
Thank you

i respect any veteran. i also respect anyone's right to disagree and have their own opinion however different from my own it is.
my feelings about the war stem from the fact that bush wimped out on his service during the viet nam war. clinton also sent young men to fight and die. clinton was a draft dodger during the viet nam era as well.
i also dislike people who say that the military is all volunteer, so they should shut up and serve however many tours they are ordered on.
i see a war that i think is mainly being fought for oil, with democracy for the iraq nation a secondary consideration.
that is why i dislike bush and this war. i want our soldiers and marines to come home. i support them and love them. i hope that their lives are not being wasted.

I'm becoming fat and lazy, I'd genuinely love to enlist but they keep turning me down. I think it's because I'm 75 years old. However I have got military experience in Korea.

Let me ask those who support the war; how much is too much? We are supporting our troops, but not the war.
When you helping somebody (Iraqis) doing the home work for 5 years and that somebody do not even want to do any homework themselves, they don’t even want your help; that is the problem. We waste so much lives and money for what; for more of our bridges to collapse? “Enough is enough” is what people said. Whoever wants to fighting Iraq War forever should go ahead join the military and go for it; so some of our soldiers can come home. I know some said part of Iraqis wants us to stay, and what I am trying to say is: those Iraqis should also join and fight the war for themselves.

Yeah I hate them! Just like I hate the fat and lazy liberals that won't get off their a.s.s. and make good money in order to pay for their own freaking benefits they want the Cons to pay for in this country. Do you agree? I would gladly pick up a gun and fight if there were not any volunteers to do so.

Not everyone fights on the front lines. Many people help behind the scenes. Many repair and develop new military equipment for the soldiers. Many do other little things that help the soldier. Just becuase we are not on the front lines, does not mean we do not support the soldier and the noble cause.

Well, my Dad is definately a "Neocon" and he does love his easy chair and remote control...not to mention a cold beer or two. But he did 30 years of honorable service in the Navy and has a real nice pension and medical benefits.
