NO. If only you knew what other people see an experience in this world. You're lucky you don't, so just sit back and say ignorant things like this while brave people fight and die for you and your children.

I do not agree. If you were living controlled by a tyrant, told what to do, when to do it, what you can't do and when you can't do it, killed for no reason, killed for being the wrong race or religion, I think you would want some one to help. Right?
This is definitely not the place to ask this. You will get so many biased opinions, who dont know half of what they are talking about. Before you ask yourself if the war is pointless and needs to end, think about what would happen if it just got up and ended. Iraq would be a warzone for the years to come without help, not to mention probably be takin over by another tyrant which is why we are there in the first place.
And for those saying "government controlled media", are you serious? The media is the last thing controlled by the government. Not to mention the government by amendment is NOT ALOUD to touch the media.
A war with Iraq occurred because of the evidence of Weapons of mass destruction, and also because Saddam Husein is and was a tyrant who slaughtered hundreds.

One question, when did a war start with Iraq? if there was one I would agree cuz Iraq did nothing wrong. But by no means should the war against terror end, that is unless you really want 911 to happen all over again

Most of the world including the vast majority of our own citizens agree the war is pointless. As long as our gov't insists on feeding the military machine we will continue to find other countries to pick on even after Iraq. Our imperialistic impulses have made our government and by default our country the most hated nation on the face of the planet. Read the news outside what our government controlled media outlets feed us and you'll soon realize this.
If we do not stop our bullying ways we are doomed to suffer further and further hatred and attacks. We are not making the world a safer place for us or anyone else. We are just creating more and more enemies that we conveniently label "terrorists" or "insurgents". If Iraq invaded our country with superior firepower claiming we were developing weapons of mass destruction (which have and have used) what our citizens do? 2nd amendment gives us the right to bear arms. If we use our own weapons against our invaders who are forcing a government on us that we don't want does that make us terrorists and insurgents? By our own governments definition YES. Sooner or later the blind patriotism and "protecting our freedom" propaganda has to stop and we have to realize what is going on in this world.
And to all of the people who will say that soldiers are fighting for our freedom explain how? HOW I'm I more free and safe than I was before we invaded Iraq? These soldiers are dying not to protect my freedom. They are dying to protect our cheap oil. That is the most sickening point of all of this. If we pull out of Iraq we are no less free and in no greater danger. The "danger" that was supposedly threatening our safety was a complete lie. Even after we all knew it was a lie troops kept pouring in. Soldiers are doing what they're told. Why aren't they being told to stop the genocide in Africa? Because there's nothing there we need or want. Using the "protecting freedom" line is convenient and sounds good. I HAVE been to other places , many, many, many other places and none of them felt the least bit threatened by the Iraq, Iran or any other Middle Eastern country. Many of them have no real military and they're much closer to them than we are. I've traveled to more countries, including those where our soldiers would not be welcome, than most soldiers so my comments are not stupid or asinine. They are well informed, objective and not rhetoric. Don't tell me I don't understand. I understand completely and I don't just accept what our government tries to feed me. This is still the greatest country on earth but we need to focus our energy on our own people and our own problems instead of trying to police and control the world.

No, i don't agree. If I was a betting man I bet the information that you've ever gotten from Iraq has been what the mainstream media has told you. I'll tell you what's pointless....... your question.

no, what would happen to iraqi society after we draw out our troops. first of all, we can't be irresponsible like that. we messed other people's country and must help them to rebuild. Second of all, we need the Iraqi oil. "peak oil" is coming and we need to stay in iraq to deny other foreign countries' intervention in our oil interest. And lastly, the government just won't end the war

Nope.
My family escaped Islam in the 1950s.
We've been expecting this war for decades.
It will be over when Islam no longer seeks to conquer the world. For those of us actually familiar with Islam, who have read their holy books, have learned the history of their growth and methods, that is the only way this war will be over.
You have no idea what you are talking about.

I don't. If nothing else we have kept them from spreading their constant fighting in their own yard for a little while longer. BTW, we aren't at war with Iraq.

i disagree i feel that if the war does end iraq will feel that we are weak and they will pose another attack on the country that could cost more lives which would start a riot against the government along with people who disagree with eachoterh like the time when there was north vs. south before our country came as one.
and this is soo best answer just saying
