Ever since 9/11, Bush has used his "war against terror" as an excuse to allow the government to snoop into private citizens phone calls, bank records and who knows what. Why would they not snoop into Yahoo??

I would cast my vote for Clinton. They didn't call him Slick Willy for nothing! He could precisely express just about anything and could form a real connection with his audiences.

Is this the message we're sending children about supporting our troops? Since when are toys considered bad?

"Fifth-graders in California who adorned their mortarboards with tiny toy plastic soldiers this week to support troops in
Iraq were forced to cut off their miniature weapons."

Perhaps they'll suspend him too for trying to cause bodily harm to other children because he tried to separate cookies with his mouth. It would make about as much sense as this does.

"a kindergartner was suspended for bringing a plastic knife to school so he could cut cookies."

Then they wonder why we like to home school our children, or send them to private schools. It's so we don't raise mentally unstable children suffering from a stolen childhood due to a over-the-top PC world.

The Senate passed Sen. Inhofe's amendment to the immigration bill declaring English our official language by a vote of 64-33 on June 6. Sen. Inhofe's amendment also nullified Executive Order 13166, the federal mandate for providing
government-funded services in foreign languages.
the Senate then did an about-face and passed an opposing amendment by Sen. Ken Salazar (CO) by a vote of 58-39 that said English was merely our "common language" (with no meaning in law) and gave full congressional authorization to Executive Order 13166. How does one amendment nullify the other? Even though they contradict each other, both of these amendments are now in the Senate immigration bill. If immigration bills eventually pass both houses of Congress the Democratic Leadership will control the conference committee that reconciles the differences and produces a final bill. Call your senator and demand they support Inhofe and vote against Salazar!

And we also have to ask why were Osama and Hussien both either on the CIA payroll and or associated with the Bush regime. Is all of this a coincidence?

US Soldiers returning from war are finding it more difficult to get mental health treatment because military insurance is cutting payments to therapists, on top of already low reimbursement rates and a tangle of red tape.

U.S. troops would no longer be asked to reveal previous mental health treatment when applying for security clearances under a proposal being considered by the Pentagon.

i asked this before but worded it incorrectly. i understand not everyone agrees with everything the president has done but why such vicious attacks. there's a mature and professional way to voice your opinion, and everyone seems to forget that when Bush is the topic. i even had people attacking me personally just for asking the question.
