Crown Royal (My Favorite)?
Jack Daniels?
Jim Beam?
Something else?

Additionally, if you mix, what is your drink of choice?
Mine is Crown and 7. Are you a Jack and Coke person? Whiskey and water? Do you like it straight?

Bushmill's is very good. Please, though, don't waste good Irish whiskey by putting water, or coke or anything but ice cubes into it.

Usually Jim Beam or Jack Daniels with coke or straight, sometimes with ice, sometimes without - both are fairly cheap but reasonable quality, good for mixing since they aren't real expensive. I like Crown Royal straight or with ice... and most other whiskey I'll drink straight. I like Scotch, Irish and Rye whiskey as well as borboun though... don't tend to drink much other than whiskey really.

Woodford Reserve has consistently won the blind taste test of the epicurean wiskey lovers. One top reviewer wrote, "If Bookers barks, Woodford purrs."

Indeed a Woodford on the rocks with a splash or a bit more water has hints of oak, vanilla and a smoothness from the first taste to the last finish that is unparalelled in the wiskey genre.

Don't just go buy some Woodford, go and buy Woodford and an equal or even far more expensive wiskey and compare in a blind taste test. You'll be amazed at the joy of flavor that will jolt your senses.

I've visited the distillery and was taken on a grand tour by the head distiller. A classy gentlemen who had not one bad word to say about any other wiskey, yet educated you to the nuances of what isn't really wiskey but bourbon.

You won't call it wiskey anymore but bourbon.

Kentucky law doesn't allow the reuse of the oak barrels for bourbon, in fact they are all sold to the finer scotch distillers as the bourbon oak barrels can give scotch some flavor.

Don't try it if you aren't ready. And dare to compare.

Not Crown Royal (Canadian)
Not Jack Daniels (Tennessee)
At least Jim Beam is made right here in Kentucky, but we have MUCH better Bourbons here. I like Makers Mark. On the rocks.

Oban Single Malt Scotch is my favorite. Straight or with one wee ice cube. Or a Johnnie Walker Black on the Rocks.

Either Pendleton or Walker Blue. Straight up or on ice with a lemon rind.

I happen to like Black Velvet. It has a very mild flavor to it.

I sip it straight or add ice cubes with water.
