Yes i do have an agenda. I'm a libertarian who actually believes in liberty for everybody, not just those that the ACLU deems worthy. If they changed their name to ACCU for American Civil Causes Union that would be fine. There is nothing libertarian about the ACLU.

Am I the only one who has picked up on the fact that an organization that supposedly protects liberty tried to take that away from a handicapped child in Arizona? You gotta be kidding me if you thought they were concerned with anything but protecting their friends in the teachers union. The ACLU would wipe its collective azz with the Arizona constitution if it would further its agenda.

ACLU is liberal.
School choice would hurt teachers unions as private schools are for teh most part non-union.
Teachers union support liberal causes and the democrats VERY heavily.
That simple. Teaching studnets and improving education and the life possibilities of our children is secondary at best to thier politics.

I read the article, and to me it seemed like the ACLU was filing suit because they felt the state constitution was being violated and would have done so no matter who was behind it.
You don't have to like some of the issues the ACLU defends (I know I don't. Man-Boy Love Association? Come on!), but you should respect what they do. It's because of groups like the ACLU that people are allowed to disagree with their government without being arrested.
As for being a "left wing standard bearer," I'm not sure where that came from, as the ACLU butted heads with Clinton's policies numerous times while he was president.
My thought is that it has been labeled as liberal because, even though it is doing what it has always done, there have been so many Republican civil liberty violations that the ACLU has had to work overtime these last seven years.
That's just my theory though, and thanks to the ACLU, I'm allowed to freely express it.

the college district - a central authority entity - replaced into featuring to discriminate by contrast student. some million/2 the class have been going to hold women as their dates. And some million/2 the scholars have been going to placed on tuxedos to the promenade. Why replaced into the government (college district) going to tell her that she replaced into no longer allowed to realize this? via stressful equality, the ACLU replaced into no longer ruining absolutely everyone's promenade. via cancelling the promenade, the college district ruined all of us's promenade. the college chosen to destroy the promenade because of the fact of their opposition to equality. do no longer blame ACLU for that. The ACLU has no longer stopped prayer in school. the 1st substitute's corporation clause, interpreted via the U.S. splendid courtroom, prohibits the government from directing prayer or worship. scholars would, devoid of sponsorship or interference via the government, pray in college devoid of disrupting the needs of the college. it fairly is interior the "loose workout clause" of the 1st substitute. you could say sexist or racist issues. who's scuffling with you? you're allowed to declare "God bless united statesa.." who's scuffling with you? If the college district or the different governmental entity stops you from non-disruptive speech, touch the ACLU or your criminal expert. you will win.

ACLU should stand for Anti-Constitution Lawyer's Union.
They can't have the truth about the ideals of our Founding Fathers being taught.
They can't have children going to schools where Religion (ESPECIALLY Christianity) may get some mention.
How about: Anti-Christ Lawyer's Union?
Schools are a place for indoctrination as good little Liberals with Socialist (Marxist) ideals. The ACLU can't let go of that opportunity!

Because most people would have no choice. Wealthy people would like to be able to stop supporting public schools and instead use their taxes to send their kids to private schools. Poor people and minorities would be left with the decaying remnant of the public schools, even more underfunded than they are now. The ACLU believes that good education for all of our children is more important than subsidizing elite schools for the wealthy.
