No. Corporate America has taken over. The news outlets are almost all corporate owned and report mostly "news" that benefits their bottom line - when they report news at all. Too often the evening news is half fluff - concentrating on a movie star's love life or an athlete's adolescent behavior or how well the latest Pirates of the Caribbean movie did in the box office. The ruling of America to favor big business is what is known as facism. That's what we have now, though most people don't realize it yet. Too bad.

You can answer that your self as you drive down a street and count the cameras watching you! You can answer it yourself when you drive by a school and it looks just like a prison! Got to get that early training in! The whole world is run by a very few ultra rich families that own most everything in sight including the mortgage to your home! We are destined to be their slaves with no rights what so ever except the very few they will give us. Aside from having the whole world as their slaves they will continue with their programs to reduce the worlds population by at least 80% they don't want us hordes of usless eaters using up the recorces! This is why they have hidden away vast untapped recources we don't get to hear about. Oil is only one of many. The info is out there if you do a little digging! I really wished someone could prove me wrong. I really don't like the life we will be turning over to our kids!
You have to understand these rulling elite are truly evil devil worshipers and life means nothing to them or to their many minions.

Ever since I placed Bush anti-war signs in my livingroom window, my tax returns have been questioned by the IRS (since 2003). Big Brother watching? Maybe a Bush Brother? The result is "legalized" harrasment. Ahh, freedom...Cookies? They're just not for snacks anymore!

If you mean is the federal gvt. strictly following the laws of the Constitution?
Such as:
The bill of rights!
Nothing but Gold & Silver shall be used as money!
The answer is a big "NO"!
However, gvt. justifies their actions by saying the laws of the Constitution can be overridden in times of war.
Now do you understand why Bush wants America ingaged in perpetual wars....More Power!!!!!Power over congress & the Constitution!
Nominate & elect Ron Paul for president, & I guarantee Americans will be governed by the laws of the Constitution once again.

I'm curious......have you read Orwell.......it's funny......well, no it's not. I've talked to other people who've read it, see hints of "BIG BROTHER" in our society today. If you haven't read "1984" please do. He's not taken over yet......George,missed the year, but he was right on....on the events that invade all of our lives..........LATER............
