I see on here so much, "Terrorism is bad and we need to kill the terrorists before they kill us." Sure, that's great and all, but why didn't we just stay in Afghanistan and fight Al-qaeda like we were supposed to? And why doesn't it make you angry at the current leadership at all for letting us down? All the reasons for us going in there have been disproven, and it would seem that Iraq is more of a "safe haven" for terrorism than ever before. We had the world behind us for awhile, and now they think we are aggressors as opposed to those only seeking justice. Don't you think that a negative world opinion would breed more terrorists?

This is not an about supporting the President, he is one man, and only a "temporary" fixture in the United States spotlight.

This is not about supporting the troops, because I don't blame them for what they are ordered to do.

It is about understanding the ramifications of our actions.

Why are so many blind to what we have now done?

I just don't understand why were over there fighting for their country when we should be protecting our own. Who's watching our backs?

Shouldn't we get our own act together first before we try to start helping others whether invited or uninvited. And did we ever stop to think that some countries don't want our help?

I want to know what is truly important to you. With all the political, economic, and environmental problems and debates, we all have our opinions and feelings. However, no one really bothers to ask us what our thoughts are on anything. So now I'm asking you. What do you think about the war? What do you think about the way the economy's heading? Who do you think should win the Presidential election? Is there anything on your mind that you want to just pop off about? What are you just absolutely sick of? What would you like to see changed in your city...your state...your country...even the world?
Let me know. I'm formulating a plan, and I'll need all of your help.
Sound off. Post your answers here. Also, feel free to email me via Yahoo! Answers if you'd like. I'll be keeping up on it.
Be on the lookout for a question from me. It will be "EVERYONE PLEASE READ - Are you game?" I will fill you all in on my plan when it's ready. I appreciate everyone's input and your help.

He said he was admittedly "hard-nosed" about the bill last year but his principle opposition to amnesty, or allowing illegal immigrants a chance at citizenship, has not changed.

"We can have a ... track for temporary workers that don't have to have skills and the education level," Sessions said. "And a separate track for those who want to become permanent residents and citizens. That's the way I see it. It's a common-sensical thing and it's sort of interesting that people are coming around to it. Surprise, surprise."

(March 14, 2007) -- The scourge of suicides among American troops in Iraq is a serious, and seriously underreported, problem, as this column has observed numerous times in the past three years. One of the few high-profile cases involved a much-admired Army colonel named Ted Westhusing.

http://www.editorandpublisher.com/eandp/columns/pressingissues_display.jsp?vnu_content_id=1003558239

Now, a new article reveals -- based on documents obtained under the Freedom of Information Act -- that Westhusing's apparent suicide note included claims that his two commanders tolerated a mission based on "corruption, human right abuses and liars." One of those commanders: the new leader of the "surge" campaign in Iraq, Gen. David Petraeus.

Is it worth considering that the 20 second or less clips that pundits like Stuart and Colbert take out of up to hour long speeches and interviews to use to make Bush look like an idiot are totally taken out of context and used to build an argument based on the credibility that they build by condescending?

White House staffers who dealt with with Jack Abramoff and the U.S. Attorney firings sent e-mails from outside addresses linked to the Republican National Committee (RNC) to circumvent the mandatory record-keeping system. Today, CREW sent a letter to Chairman of the Committee on Oversight and Government Reform, Rep. Henry Waxman (D-CA), asking for an investigation into whether the White House has violated its mandatory record-keeping obligation under the Presidential Records Act (PRA).

Go to that question a just give me an answer so I can resolve it and get my 3 points back.
