I'm not sure what your talking about, but his mental state has decayed severely. I was told he is drinking quite a lot lately. His failure and lack of an approval rating weighs heavily on him. If your talking about his decisions, He does not make it on his own. He just signs off on them. I heard Cheney on the other hand is losing it, but this is from a liberal source and should be weighed as that. Bush is a simple man, and people can dump tons of documents to make a case for about everything. I might join the Liberals in insulting him, but truthly I do not think of him as a truely an evil man. I am mad, because he is not fit for the job and only ran to get his fathers approval and for his own ego. Honestly, I don't think a honest man can run for President. We had one once, Carter, and he was a complete failure.

George Bush has lost the support of the nation and for a man who appears to desperately need the approval of others to validate his thoughts it must be a very difficult time. He really is a simple thinker; he may be bright but not smart.

I wonders aloud about Bush’s (deteriorating) brain. It seems George Bush was a lot more lucid and eloquent 10 years ago. What’s happening inside that head of his?

No. President Bush is, by all indications, of sound mind & body.

No. I think he has a plan. It just isn't a plan I like very much. He has one year and nine months to go and is doing as much as he can to get his world view in place quickly through administrative fiat.

He has no mind to lose. He's being manipulated by the much smarter Dick Cheney. And I'm not joking either.

One has to have a mind to lose in the first place. Such is not the case with Bush.

I strongly suspect that what little was there is by now rather calcified due to lack of use annd that he may use the alzheimer defense before long in order to gain sympathy from his dwindling band of right wing fanatics.

No, I think he is probably tired of the left wing agenda constantly knocking him down.
