I think you have to look at who is paying the scientists. I mean really dig and find out. Alot of them are paid by oil companies and governments. If you look at most of the independant scientists you will find that they're stats are the ones that are more grim. All I know is the the weather from where I live is sure different in the last few years. Hotter then ever in the summer and unseasonably cold in the winter. We are looking in the face of the worst flood in our area in the last 100 years. It is pretty hard to say that nothing is happening. All I know is that going green will not harm the earth so I'm doing my part.

You shouldn't be listening to Exxon's scientists. Ask the people on the Maldive Islands who's right. Some have already had to abandon their islands because of rising sea levels. Two inches wouldn't have done that.

Gore also said he invented the internet and claimed he was the creator of other ridiculous things.
Gore is a moron on crack.
Even if all of South Pole or the North Pole were to melt, it would not raise the the water level by 20 feet.
Most of the Ice is in the water already and below the water level, so why hasn't the water risen?
Typical Democratic BS.

From icebergs melting? What a joke. The water is already displaced by the ice. Have you ever had a glass of ice water? When the ice melts, does the glass get fuller? NO!! The water had already been displaced by the ice. The ice melting is not going to make the water level rise.

Al Gore's trying to paint Global Warming as bad, when it will in fact be a great thing for humanity.
We're about to see a return to the climate of 1000 years ago, the time of Chaucer. When Vineyards grew in London, Vikings lived on Greenland, and Europe became vastly wealthy and built cathedrals. If Global Warming could have those effects during the era of feudalism, think about what kind of golden age it can bring about in this age of Capitalism?
We must stop the threat posed by the Environment movement. They will stop at nothing to cripple our economy and prevent this golden age. They won't let the 3rd World industrialize. We need to allow Climate Change to occur, because it will bring about an age of unprecedented prosperity.
