Why is it that as the United States we have help other countries when we have so many of our own problems?

Good question, I also have thought this myself. The other day it kind of came to me in a different point of view though. this is an extremely good point. I guess it's all about our governments priorities, like citizens scraping to pay for hospitals bill-even going into debt. While our government is letting illegals come here and pretty much rape our healthcare system.
