In his two campaigns for president, he had me convinced enough to vote for him. I am a super-staunch conservative, so I probably would have voted for him anyway. But, to answer the question, no, I do not think his actions are congruent with a God-fearing man. I believe in God with all my heart, and I don't feel that God would approve of Bush and his anti civil rights behavior.

According to GWB:
The Amish told the president that not all members of the church vote but they would pray for him. Bush had tears in his eyes when he replied. He said the president needs their prayers. He also said that having a strong belief in God is the only way he can do his job. ... At the end of the session, Bush reportedly told the group, “I trust God speaks through me. Without that, I couldn’t do my job.’’ Blah blah blah blah blah

If not, he should be. Unfortunately, it seems he's waiting for the "rapture" (when all the really great Christians get beamed to heaven by J.C., a bit before the reckoning) I think that's why he seems to not give a second thought to alot of things that seem fairly important to the rest of us. Either that or he has some kind of fancy space ship (financed by Halliburton) waiting for him and Laura and the end of his term...I really don't think he sees himself as a citizen of this earth.

Not now, that was before the election, he is a coke snorting, alcoholic with no morals when he don't need any votes.
