After 12 years of Republican government control, including 6 years of Bush, do you mean to tell me that the Republicans haven't delivered on their promise to force women to give birth rather than abort? After all that time, doesn't it occur to the antiabortionist that someone has been yanking your chain? Isn't it about time to seek real solutions rather than continue to listen to political preachers tell you to simply enlist the government to force women to behave as you see fit?
Or has it become too difficult for Christians to use persuasion rather than force?

Republicans = pro-life, Intelligent Design, lower taxes, strong defense, school vouchers, anti-gay marriage, war against terror, smaller government, states rights, secure borders, and drilling in ANWAR.

Democrats = prochoice, Evolution, higher taxes, smaller defense but stronger UN ties, federally controlled schools, gay marriage, negotiations as way to handle terrorism, bigger government, federalism, open borders, no new oil well drilling.

At one time the country always came together in a time of war. Politics were put aside, and everyone was an American. Now it seems that no matter what our country faces, the facts are twisted and adulterated in a way to make the other party look bad, no matter the cost to our country. Isn't there anyone who puts America ahead of their respective political party anymore?

Jacques Chirac is about to retire. The US is bogged down in a hopeless attempt to influence the civil war in Iraq. Chirac was smart enough to see the folly of this invasion from the beginning, and kept his country clear of the train wreck. As he leaves office, wouldn't it be honorable to now say - Yes, monsieur, you were right?

How did we get to where we are today in regards ro religion?
Amendment I
Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the government for a redress of grievances.

Since the left of this country has taken us closer to freedom FROM religion than of: How do they misinterpret that amendment so. Free exercise is not limited to the church only. How is it that we cannot freely exercise religion in schools - how do you make that conclusion? Given the tyranny that the orignators of this country were leaving, I have to believe that they were intent on preventing a state run religion, not a religion run state. There is a difference there.
Can the liberals not understand that everytime you protect the right of an aetheist you impead the rights of a believer. Why do we always pander to the minority

There is a bill they're trying to pass that will swap your RE taxes for a higher 8.5% sales tax. If you're interested in having the bill passed, let your voice be heard on this site:

See? This is the same argument that states Abortion is a 'woman's issue' and only women have a valid opinion. Or only those who ahve served in the military should have an opinion about that.

Liberals have, NBC, ABC, CBS, CNN, CNBC and so forth. Conservatives have Fox and Liberals find themselves in a level 5 Panty-Wad that there is an opposing view point on the block. The fact that Fox is NUMBER 1# in the ratings also seems to give them additional discomfort. Sean Hannity seems to be an outrage to them. The fact that Mr. Hannity slices and dices one liberal after the other on a dailey basis must have something to do with it. So they do as they always do...sling mud and name call. It seems they hate Fair & balance, Hannity has right next to him Alan Combs with the liberal view...yet they can't stand any opposing view...just their own Liberal slant on issues.

Anyone else see this?
