I am no fan of the iraq war or anything, but i do believe in the first amendment. this is about freedom of religion. It is against christianity to condone homosexuality. Will Gen. Pace get in trouble? why would he? why is he being demonized so much? the Anti-Defamation league would have him put in a concentration camp if they had their way.

Gen. Pace calls homosexuality immoral

Associated Press

WASHINGTON - The chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff said Monday he considers homosexuality to be immoral and the military should not condone it by allowing gay personnel to serve openly, the Chicago Tribune reported.

Marine Gen. Peter Pace likened homosexuality to adultery, which he said was also immoral, the newspaper reported on its Web site.

"I do not believe the United States is well served by a policy that says it is OK to be immoral in any way," Pace told the newspaper in a wide-ranging interview.

Pace, a native of Brooklyn, N.Y., and a 1967 graduate of the U.S. Naval Academy, said he based his views on his upbringing...

I was just reading the news and was wondering what thoughts you lovely people have on the topic. Do you think that parents have the right to know that teenagers get contraceptives and abortions? do you agree with the conservatives?

LONDON (Reuters) - A Conservative MP is trying to get the law changed to give parents the right to know before their under-age daughters are given contraception or are having an abortion.

In my opinion it is the greed factor. Socialism fails to account for the basic human nature to achieve in life. While capitalism embraces and encourages it.

Capitalists are dedicated to the principle that they have the right to achieve all that they desire in life and are only limited by their willingness to work harder to obtain their desires. They are rooted in the concept of individual responsibility for success or failure.

Socialists hold the opinion that all people should be equal in all things. If someone has more they are not really entitled to the spolis of their effort, but rather should be forced to share because they have achieved more. They hold the opinion that there should be collective control and redistribution of all resources and that people will worker harder simply for the benefit of the collective.

Socialism can be somewhat incorporated into a capitalist system, but pure socialism will always be doomed to fail.

What is your opinion?

This pathetic excuse of a government believes that pricing us off the road is the answer to environmental problems. I suggest that we outlaw Tea and Coffee!! Think about it, Tea and Coffee are imported from far away and therefore we clock up millions of miles of industrial travel to get it here. On the other hand think of the billions of killer watts of energy wasted every day to heat the water for these drinks! Let’s tax hot drinks out of existence! I need my car to get to work! No one needs Tea! Another plus is that people will sleep better!
Do you agree?

Ronald Reagan was one of the greatest Presidents in the history of the Republic. His strength of character, fortitude, and leadership should be forever memorialized. Mount Rusmore would be an appropriate tribute.

You would think Republicans would be all for social programs helping economically disadvantaged families, thereby helping the "no longer fetus" babies/children. Yet, they want to cut social programs left and right and call those who apply for them "lazy", etc. I know many single mothers who had to rely on them, at least temporarily because raising a kid can be so darn expensive these days. So, why the fetal fascination and then the cold shoulder to the born?
