I am surprised at how many people don't know that Lincoln was the GOP's first-ever President. And that the South was mostly comprised of Democrats (to this day) that opposed everything Lincoln stood for, and kept those positions for over 100 years after his assassination. In fact, if RFK and JFK don't begin supporting Martin Luther King in the 60's -- the Democrats might never have gotten ONE vote from Black America. (and come to think about it, Dems haven't done too much since LBJ.. who is the 3rd best Dem President of this century after FDR and Truman).

Osama binLaden
911
over 3,100 U.S. troops in Iraq....dead
nearly 40,000 US troops in Iraq ....injured
hundreds of thousands of Iraqi civilians ....dead
several hundred foreign contractors in Iraq....dead
295 U.S. Troops in Afghanistan .... dead
885 U.S. troops in Afghanistan....Seriously injured

No one knows where he is. He is likely still alive. I believe he is quite proud of himself. He has outsmarted the U.S. President, his cronies and the neocons. Look what he has caused. We are here. Living in fear. On the brink of bankruptcy. He contributed to what will quite possibly develop into another world war. He created Bush. A warmonger. Who vacillates from one "solution" to another.
Osama.....smart, slick....
The REAL Commander in Chief.

The Government have recently passed laws in the UK to try and suppress live
music and dance. Pubs which could previously offer work to solo singers or
duos now have to pay for a special licence and can only have 12 of these per
year. Even school Xmas concerts need to be licensed.

If you don't know there is a UK government web site where anyone can now
start a petition and that's what is being done. we've just received the
following email which explains things more clearly and gives the site
address . If you care about keeping music live please take the time to sign
the petition...link to sign petition is here..

The U.S.A. was progressive back in the 1970's but is slow to embrace alternative energy sources and environmentally-sound practices across the board. What nations are beating us to the punch in efforts to clean up "our" act and walk softly on the Earth?

FYI-

95% of greenhouse gases are NOT CO2! CO2 is small percentage and added CO2 in the big picture is relatively meaning less.

Are Gore and the Democrats being hateful when they ignore the fact that Clinton REFUSED to sign Kyoto?

Clinton said Kyoto would hurt America. Say, isn't that what Bush said?

I used to take a pain prescription that cost about $100 each month. Now I take one that costs $400 each month. It's not much better --- but maybe just a little.

But, it's ok. You pay for it. I get government healthcare.

Do you mind working hard to pay that much money for a medicines that helps me just a little more?

Can you see anything wrong here with our healthcare system?
