Please read before answering...it seems the current groups of soliders are being asked to carry an unfair burden for this war. Besides of the obvious of wounded and dead servicemen, the long terms of services are placing huge burden our servicemen's families. If we had a fair draft, where no one can opt out including the rich, the politically connected, the affluent children to help our country to carry this burden, I think then you would find out how really popular this war would be.

Who elected these bums to be looking after every country except the one they were elected into office to work for? Clinton more or less stayed at home, Bush Sr. invaded Iraq and didn't finish the job. Regan pretty much stayed at home, Johnson ended the war in Viet Nam, Nixon was a stay at home yet allowed Watergate, Just who do these guys think they are to circumnavigate the globe when they haven't even seen every room in the Whitehouse. Who appointed them to be busy bodies when they cannot even look after the problems at home? Your comments please, this puzzle needs a name. Is it time to snap them back into reality, to make them promise to fix the problems we have before anything else gets done???????????????/

it seems to me that whenever politics and religion work in close proximity to eachother ... trouble is bound to happen. i'm not dogging religion or anything ... i just think that politicians shouldn't be able to play the religion card to further their own agenda. anyone else care to share their opinion?

Russian president blasts American policy.
quote

Putin said the world was more dangerous when one country acted unilaterally in foreign affairs. Putin charged that it was "primarily the United States that has overstepped its borders." Its "hyper use" of military force has led the world "from one abyss to another."

He added: "Nobody feels secure anymore because nobody can hide behind the wall of international law."

end quote

my question is:
we should fear The Soviet Union
like we fear them into the past?

Forget about Iraq, Iran or China an any of such countries for the moment. Why is the US always silent on Singapore? Our position needs to be loud and clear.

So Democrats try to make the country's economy work like a socialist country's. At the same time Republican's trample rights and build a fascist war machine. When will they figure out that neither of them have any idea what democracy is really about?

The west talks BIG GAME about China colonizing Africa. HOW IRONIC IS THAT WHEN THEY WERE THE ONES WHO COLONIZED AFRICA AND STILL DO IT! Personally, I don't think they want africa to rise up!

If an illegal Mexican immigrant can sneak into our country, it would be just as easy for a terrorist to do so. After all, there is big evidence that members of Hezbollah have already covertly entered the USA.

The treatment of native Canadians in the past was unfair but the current land claims cost taxpayers so much money. If there was a time limit on Natives attempting to reclaim land perhaps it would help all of us move forward and work on better solutions for Native communities in Canada.
