Yes, but you need to make sure your card is signed, if not, they will NOT let you use a credit card for any transactions unless you use the automated booth placed for after hour transactions

Yes, but you either have to go to the counter, or to the Automated Post Office kiosk in the lobby (where you can also mail packages). It can take a while to buy them from the kiosk. When we were buying international stamps, you had to get them one at a time, because the machine prints them out individually. Also, you don't get stamps with pretty pictures and designs, but more like a stamp with a UPC symbol on it. You have to go to the counter during business hours to get the regular stamps.
The vending machines in the lobby that sell stamps usually DON'T take credit cards, though. Those are cash only.

Yes, well at my post office they do. They take checks as well made out to the postmaster. In fact, you can buy them online at www.usps.com
