Do the English Need to Find Their Roots? The debate about Englishness and how it differs from being British is set to continue. Particularly with the Grumpy Scotsman about to be in charge. Before answering the question you might like to view this youtube video by the band "Show of Hands" and see if it inspires your answer.

in our domestic politics? It seems to me that Howard is way of line when he blasts Barrack Obama. It seems to me that some Aussies want to criticise the US for the Iraq war. That's fine, but shouldn't you take care of your own first? We Americans are trying to deal with our government. Howard needs to stay the hell out of our internal affairs!

It seems to me that the most divisive, spiteful, hurtful, supposed questions, receive the most answers. Posters from both sides of every important argument go out of their way to insult their fantasy opponent. Their questions only serve to polarize. Why should we continue to indulge the hate mongers, the polarizers, from both sides?

You’re not supporting the soldiers by that you are supporting the creation of an empire. If you oppose to the creation of an empire is not cutting your support for the soldiers is just the opposite. The Republicans may want to make you think that way because they are pro empire but a pre emptive attack base on fabricated information is historically an expansion of an empire.

fit when the Republicans were in office, well they aren't now and my gas prices have gone up .26 cents since the middle of January. I don't hear any talk of it anymore nor of any plans they might have to lower gas prices.

Majoring in political science is my dream, not only because it is what I would love to work in but also because it does not sound that practical.

I'm choosing between going to Berea College to pursue PS or going to Adams State College (I am gauranteed admisison at ASC and about 90% gauranteed at B) to pursue either nursing or teaching. I would go to a different school because ASC doesn't have a political science major and B does not operate in the area where I would work as an adult with my degree. My dream job: to be the next Ken or John Salazar, or at least be the mayor of a small town in the SLV someday.

Any advice of which school to go to or what career to eventually pursue?

What I enjoy about PS:

Standing up for what I believe in
Defending those I believe in and representing those who do not have a voice
Helping people, but those who are willing to help themselves too
Making a difference
Debating itself

And as far as earnings go, I could really care less.

There are many negatives inlcuding that they are simply power hungry, and full of wirepulling elite, some say incompatible with freedom and restricts choice to artificial dualism.... would we be better off without parties?

Has Bush made America weaker or stronger since he became president?

How strong will america look if we are being fired upon by insurgents even as we are pulling out of their country? Do we just tell them that we would really like to stay and fight but we really have to go?

Is the economy really doing as good as they say, or is it just being propped up by the war and the tax cuts and will collapse when the war is over?
