Shouldn't we all just stop answering these questions?

It seems to me that the most divisive, spiteful, hurtful, supposed questions, receive the most answers. Posters from both sides of every important argument go out of their way to insult their fantasy opponent. Their questions only serve to polarize. Why should we continue to indulge the hate mongers, the polarizers, from both sides?

What's hurtful, divisive or spiteful about either of those two qestions, Meat? Anna Nicole Smith is in the news and I asked a simple question about it. The question of the nationality determining race is a legitimate one and not intended to be divisive. You can criticise my questions, if you don't like them, but they can hardly be used as an example of hypocricy.

Another thing Meat. You seem to understand what I'm referring to. Why else would you be asking people to recommend another medium. It seems to me that you definitely know something about hypocricy.

I agree with you to a point. I have found that some who post questions really have no idea of how our government works,some are young without much experience & are asking questions because they want some answers that they are not getting from friends, at home or in school. They also don't know how far to trust the press & what is being reported.
Then you have the goofs who just like to stir up trouble by asking leading questions that insult, deride, & are quarlsome. We could well do without them.

Edit - This is pretty funny. I have got you in such a tizzy you had to go back and look at my questions from 9 months ago to try to imply I slandered someone. First off to adress that, I asked is Albert Pujols on steroids. I never implied he was so it doesn't qualify as slander, maybe you would want to look up the definition before you accuse. This came at a time when all the rage was about Barry Bonds and his suspected steroid use. The only evidence anyone had to offer about Bands was his improved stats over the years and his larger size. Just pointing out that maybe people need some more proof before they level charges. Maybe it would do you good to read what I put in that question and answer.

I read your question closely. Why I chose to point out your other questions is that they are sensationalistic without actually offering any substance. "Why do some Mexicans want to create their own race?" Please show me an example of that actually happening. In contrast my question about New Orleans has a link(as I try to do when I pose a controversial question) that outlines the failures of reconstructing that city including the fact that people have left there in droves. Is there a reason to rebuild? Explain to me how that is living in a glass house?

I don't sit there and reply when answers come in. I recognize that the vast majority of the folks who answer here never go back and give the question they replied to a second look. And before you start typing, the only reason I came back to answer you is the email you sent me. I ask you again, how did I slander anyone?

I do look for the back and forth, and I do enjoy debating with the likes of you. This forum does not offer that unless I go back and look at my every answer to see if someone may have taken enough interest in my answer to comment. Just so you rest at ease, I will not be back here tonight. So when you don't get an immediate reply wait a while before patting your own back.

Hello. I think this forum is important because it gives a voice to people who might not otherwise one. If some are rude here, its probably because they are rude everywhere.
It sounds to me like you are a sensitive person and that's ok. I hope you can try to ignore those who insult, because what I've found is that there really are a lot of nice people here. Good people who care and don't have an agenda to prove something.

As ridiculous as many posts seem to be you must remember we have a Constitutional right to make such statements and questions. Democracy thrives on differences of opinion. If you believe someone is being childish or just in it to push buttons point it out. Say what you have to say and then do your thing.
