Not to mention words like aloud instead of allowed,trails instead of trials.Are people really this ignorant?I don't mean to offend anyone,but it's getting pretty bad.

It is a combination of laziness, bad education(or low grade levels) and the fact that there are people on here from around the globe.
I get a lot of the synonyms in Word Documents that people send because they don't reread just spell check.
BTW - Grammar Nazi here. You put a space after punctuation and use either a . or a ? but not both to end a sentence ;-)

You have a very good point. Many of them need to learn to spell first and then take an interest in politics. They may have something valid to say, but I can't get beyond the spelling and grammar errors in order to digest it.

Typo's are common as many of us simply type in answers as quickly as we can an don't necessarily spell check all the time. Some of them have been fairly comical though! Remember that ignorance is without knowledge of, carelessness does not really fall under its umbrella.

Stupidity breeds true. There is a movie called Idiocracy starring Luke Wilson. You should watch it. It actually makes a good point of where our nation is going. I don't know if it will go to those extremes, but you should still watch it.

yes, you are correct. Schools are graduating people who cannot
write proper english, spell or comprehend what they read. This is a serious problem in our country. The world is passing us by in education.
