Sure, one of the biggest problems is that that we have to pay or those who get a free ride. Pharm companies have to make back their cost of development, plus a reasonable profit. It now costs about $1 billion to bring a drug to market. Americans are paying for the costs controls other governments put on them. If the rest of the world paid their fair share of the costs, then we would all pay less. We have to choose between national healthcare and a good jump in taxes to pay for it, or not. Tere is no fre ride.

Why should the federal government pay for healthcare. People should get jobs that do that, or pay for it themselves. I joined the military and served for 20 years to EARN my government paid healthcare. If they turn around and give it to everyone, it is a kick in the face to every retired or disabled veteran who EARNED it.

So, how did you qualify for Hilliarycare? I also have a medication bill that runs over $2000 / month. How can I get some gov't help I wonder. All I see is higher taxes.

although i go to school (college, anyways) for criminal justice, i work part -time as a pharmacy technician....i'm the one who counts your meds, puts it in a bottler and put your label on the bottle. (the pharmacy is out in the middle of nowher and we average about 250 prescriptions a day and being there for 3 yrs., i know most of the customers by name and what meds they need!)
government healthcare or not, it's not fair to to the rest of us to work our butts off for your meds. i know a guy who is on pain meds, had back surgery many times and is a landscaper. he works his but off while in pain.
yes i do mind working my tail off for the healthcare sistem. insurance companies tend to contradict themselves. they tell the patients one thing and then tell the pharmacies another thing....been there did that.

You, and people like you, should be left to die. If you can't afford your meds, you don't get them.
