Putin is president of a country that can't function with out corruption, a super power has been. Its not that I don't agree with what he said but its been said by more creditable leaders a hundred times, he just wanted to go on record to join the club!

I think the US did overstep it's national borders in Iraq and the current administration does uses hyper force and aggression. However, I could care less about what Putin, Chavez, the Iranian nut case, the Korean nutcase have to say.

Putin is a very pragmatic persone. Most of his attacks are in retaliation.SO I bet there are still problems with American signature ion WTO for Russia, that was being used by US for a longtime for political pressure, or some other stuff.

We are being seen as weak by letting these third world country's push us around.. So why wouldn't a supper power like Russia take a swipe at us.. WE need to swoop in finish the job and swoop out as the American eagle depicts..

Maybe Putin has exhausted everything he gained in the oil for food exchange and now he's nervously rubbing his sweaty palms together trying to figure out how he's going to keep his economy afloat.

I believe Vladimir to be correct when it comes to the Iraq situation , however, he didn't seem to mind taking hand outs from us when he needed it!

I don't have a lot of respect for a man who is pulling his own country back behind the iron curtain. Even their press is back under state control. He is just seeing how far his words will be taken seriously.
