he backed off and joined the ticket last time as VP for Kerry, But I liked him for the first spot, maybe he is ready now. Hillary is too much of a long shot and too much baggage. we need to win, not just field candidates whose turn it is,

and identify themselves as liberals, or Bush haters, are by and large ignorant? And what I mean is, all argumentation is based on emotion. Opnions garned from the news and friends are expressed as facts, feeling is more important than reality...what happended to the old conservative democratic party that, while progressive on many issues, still knew some things came down to right and wrong, and defending the country against enimies both foreign and domestic?

some represntatives thought that the general population was to ignorant to decide for themselves who should be in office and were for a king, while others wanted the people to vote as to who would rule over them. We are already seeing a civil war building - this from the Washington Post : Senior figures in both parties are coming to the conclusion that the Bush administration will be unable to achieve its goal of a stable, democratic Iraq within a politically feasible time frame. Agitation is growing in Congress for alternatives to the administration's strategy of keeping Iraq in one piece and getting its security forces up and running while 140,000 U.S. troops try to keep a lid on rapidly spreading sectarian violence.

When we examine the actions taken by large and wealthy nations against smaller nations, we conclude that the larger countries operate without consideration for the cultures, beliefs and political systems in the smaller countries. My view is that some nations' desire is to create smaller dependencies throughout the world to establish power bases. Countries should have definite codes and standards to guide their action. The UN has not been able to curb the unfair practices of the power-hungry nations which use spurious reasons for their bold actions which leave smaller nations helpless and prone to taking reprisals against the offending nations. A fair world seen through the eyes of all is what most human beings seek.

Is the profit motive in 'treating disease' ignoring some basic truths about 'parasitic' causes?

Do you recall the history of 'ulcers', well they were falsely believed to be caused by 'stress' until they found a bacteria that casued them.

Well one person I know very, very well spent some 16 years suffering from 'intestinal problems' labelled IBS, or Crohns only to find literature that suggested that this 'illness' or symptoms were caused by a 'parasite' of sorts; giardia is the most common.

Logic would suggest that even common bacteria like giardia require 4-5 tests to prove beyond a shadow of doubt that you don't have this common bacteria.

If you do, and the tests can't find it, then you will suffer symptoms from anemia, depression, and a whole host of other symptoms.

The question is a simple one, is today's medicine so concerned about the profit motive in treating symptoms rather than a simple cause of many illnesses like Cancer , depression, Schizophrenia; parasites?

I feel that we need to take a stupidity test across america. Taking away the idiots who vote for the people that they think are the "hottest". I think it should include 5 very basic questions about U.S history and law. If they score a 0 on the test, take away their rights to vote. Simple, stop letting people whom are oblivious to politics and the current world vote. Period. Any thoughts/rants?

They spend all their time trying to eliminate the estate tax to make billionaires richer and do nothing to stop the extreme starving, death, and massacres in Darfur. Is that how Christians act? Didn't Christ put humans over money for the rich?

Has Multiculturalism gone too far within the U.K.? With all this p.c crap and policies to make sure other cultures feel extra comfortable, has Britain lost its identity? It seems everyone is against France and the policies it has in placed to ensure that everyone is integrated into the French culture and in a sense everyone is French, instead of being black, white or Muslim. Personally I think Multiculturalism amplifies segregation which in turn creates an opposing culture. Don't get me wrong i'm all in favour being tolerate and accepting and respecting a different culture, but I think Britain bending over in order to suit these other cultures. Has Multiculturalism gone too far? Are the French right in their approach? Who agrees that multiculturalism is having an adverse effect on the British society? Has Britain lost its identity?
