Has Multiculturalism gone too far within the U.K.? With all this p.c crap and policies to make sure other cultures feel extra comfortable, has Britain lost its identity? It seems everyone is against France and the policies it has in placed to ensure that everyone is integrated into the French culture and in a sense everyone is French, instead of being black, white or Muslim. Personally I think Multiculturalism amplifies segregation which in turn creates an opposing culture. Don't get me wrong i'm all in favour being tolerate and accepting and respecting a different culture, but I think Britain bending over in order to suit these other cultures. Has Multiculturalism gone too far? Are the French right in their approach? Who agrees that multiculturalism is having an adverse effect on the British society? Has Britain lost its identity?

Great Britain is an Industrial Nation, the economy depends upon the trade of industrial goods,my question to you is has ever United States helped you with the trade being the largest consumer market? the answer is No..British people had a tradition of making very fine automobiles which every body liked the united states never encouraged the import of those cars.they even destroyed Rolls Royce by telling them to develop jet engine for Boeing 747 which they never bought.Only place you see those engines is on British Airways jets. There are Immigrants in UK and they are there for a reason, the reason being that UK wants to have good trading relations with those countries from which they come from. What would happen if those countries stop trading with UK.The Economy will collapse it is as simple as that.
Try to find the fault in super rich Britishers who have kept every body in such an austerity from a very long time. One look at the soccer hooligans and you can judge in a second how is the fabric of United Kingdom. The identity of this nation will depend mainly on what international standing and good relation it has in the World. And do not participate in the unnecessary wars.

It seems like it has. I think as long as the British cling to their history then hopefully all is not lost. The first time I went to the UK was in '76 and since then is seems to be losing some of what was special about the place, although there are still corners where you can feel it. The US is also going through this, but we don't have the thousands of years of documented history that the UK has. I say, keep it special. If you want to live there, assimilate. Here too.

So is the BNP what the UK has to offer? It seems in the UK there's too many muslims and Pakis, here in America there's too many Mexicans, in France there's too many north Africans (simplified). All 3 nations are trying to fight invasions from the south... A lot of French people joined Front National after the riots in 2005 and a lot of Americans will vote Tancredo (or other strong anti) as we see the ravages of illegal immigration Just do your share and join that BNP...
