One, I'm not a member of the "Very Rich," and my taxes were cut. I guess you don't need the money. If you don't, I'd be very happy to take it off your hands. Second, why do you assume that all Republicans feel that way? I sent a message to the President, who I support, telling him that he should be doing something about the genocide in Darfur. Why is it that you can't do both? What have YOU been doing about it? Or, is it somebody else's job, not yours? Finally, what have the Democrats in Congress been doing? Or even, for that matter, Kerry or Gore? They never mentioned a thing on the campaign trail. Why is that? Or is it only the Republicans who are supposed to do something? Not the Democrats, not the UN, just the Republicans. Isn't that convenient for your!

I'm not rich and I got a tax break of about 2500. The U.N. should be handleing Darfur. Besides if we did go there you would say why are Republicans giving money to Derfur when there are people starving here in America. Did you ever get a job from a poor person? The tax breaks go by the % of what you make and pay in. If you make more you pay more if you pay more in you get a bigger tax break. Geeez.

Are you referring to the Very Rich like Bill and Hillary Clinton, John Kerry, Sen. Jeff Bingaman (D-N.M.), Sen. Tom Harkin (D-Iowa), Sen. Mark Dayton (D-Minn.), Sen. Herb Kohl (D-Wis.), Sen. Jay Rockefeller (D-W.Va.), Rep. Jane Harman (D-Calif.), Sen. Dianne Feinstein (D-Calif.) and Sen. Edward Kennedy (D-Mass.)? These are just part of the top 50 Richest members of Congress. They are probably enjoying the tax cut.
It doesn't matter that the US-led Coalition liberated Iraqis who were being gassed, raped, murdered and who knows what else. It's not enough that some people were saved. It has to be the group of people that YOU want to be saved.

What about the starving people here in the US? I mean, you liberals want Christians to stay out of your lives and to stop spreading our message, but when someone is starving, you sure criticize us for no stepping up. Not only that, you want us to stay out of international affairs, but now you want us to step in.
What about your precious United Nations? Why aren't you bugging them to do something?
The reason that we are in Iraq is to free a country from the sadistic reign of a dictator who starved his own people, killed his own people, and allowed his sons to have rape rooms. If you are OK with a someone who does that to his own countrymen, then you are just as bad as he is and I wish that you would have gone and lived under his reign. Then maybe you'd appreciate what you have now.
Then again, you're a liberal, so you'd probably complain about something else.

We lead every other country in the world in foreign aid.
We've given millions of dollars to fight Aids in Africa and
huge amounts of monies to New Orleans. We help every
city or state that experiences disasters of every kind. Why
don't you people appreicate what this country does do
instead of hunting for one particular problem in some other
country that you think needs help. We absolutely can't be
everyone's "big daddy hand-out".

So now you are upset that we don't stick our nose in the affairs of other countries.
It is all so confusing.
Mind your own business. Don't mind your own business.
Send the military there. Don't send the military there.
Occupy there. Don't occupy there.
Ugh.
