I'm from England and i am alsolutely outraged at the North Korean nuclear test, but western governments shouldn't be wagging their finger as if they are innocent. THEY have nuclear weapons too and have tested them in secret underground locations also.

Nixon had Watergate. Reagan had Iran/Contragate. Clinton had Whitewatergate and Lewinskygate.

In the past 3 years, Bush and the Republicans have had:

Plamegate,
Abramoffgate,
FEMAgate, and
Foleygate...

...not to mention the disaster that is the Iraq War.

After the Republicans are swept out of both houses of Congress in November, what can they to do regain the trust and support of the American people?

Congratulations, yet another great move of the US to isolate themselves and be disliked by other countries...

Keep cutting immigrant flow so the rest of the manufacturing industry finally moves to China for the cheap labor and all the manufacturing plants are closed in the US and all the American white-collar jobs are gone.

If it is there for terrorist protection, th eonly terrorist ever caught in a border was in Canada....

I love the US but I think a lot of things are being done to ruin this Super Power...

Homophobic fundamentalists often quote two particular verses that seem to be against gay people. These two verses, both of which appear in the book of Leviticus, are . . .
"You shall not lie with a male as with a woman. It is an abomination." (Leviticus 18:22)
and . . .
"If a man lie with a male as he lies with a woman, both of them have committed an abomination. They shall surely be put to death. Their blood shall be upon them." (Leviticus 20:13)
Below is another scripture verse that is in the exact same book (Leviticus) as the above verse.

"For everyone who curses his father or his mother shall surely be put to death. He has cursed his father or his mother. His blood shall be upon him." (Leviticus 20:9)
Imagine what would happen today if we killed every child who was disrespectful to his parents. Fundamentalists explain this verse away, saying that it is part of the Old Levitical Holiness Code and is not meant to be taken literally.
But the above verse is just a mere 3 verses before Leviticus 20:13, one of their favorite anti-gay scriptures which, of course, they do choose to apply literally.

Fundamentalists also use Leviticus 18:22 to refer to gay people as an "abomination."
The Bible also says that eating shrimp and lobster is an abomination:
"But all in the seas or in the rivers that do not have fins and scales, all that move in the water or any living thing which is in the water, they are an abomination to you." (Leviticus 11:10)
"They (shellfish) shall be an abomination to you; you shall not eat their flesh, but you shall regard their carcasses as an abomination." (Leviticus 11:11)
"Whatever in the water does not have fins or scales; that shall be an abomination to you." (Leviticus 11:12)
So why do these fundamentalists have no problem eating at "Red Lobster" ?

Given that the EU is now just a vehicle for former Soviet Bloc countries to get a bunch of cash and a free ride from the other member nations, and for the French to work half as much as anyone else (when they're not busy striking), and the Spanish to nick all our fish, isn't it time the UK left the EU and joined forces with Germany - lets face it, strongest economies in Europe, modern, civilised, enough agriculture to be self-sufficient, hard-working, industrialised and so on, and we leave the rest of the EU to drown in their own weak economies?

(probably too strongly put, to be fair, but there you have it)

They love war but only if someone else's kids having to fight their dirty wars.

The have sat back and watched their "God" George Walker Bush bring in one Nazi after the other into his administration.

They were warned in the Bible about a man with the number 666 to his name and they have applauded George Walker Bus for being that man.

Why is it that Republicans love murder? They have orgasms everytime someone is executed by the Government. They have tweege quivers everytime an illegal is shot and killed by the Minute Men. Even their "God", George Walker Bush has called the minute men a vigilanty hate group.

Can anyone really believe that a repressive government such as Communist China would let a pipsqueak country like North Korea, which borders China, field a million-man army and play with nuclear weapons without Beijing's consent? If China showed no qualms about brutally occupying Tibet, why would it let North Korea act on its own?

Im not pure democratic, and im not pure republican. I have opinions of both sides. I am against abortion, but i think it should be allowed if the birth is going to kill the mother. Exspecially if the births gonna kill both mother and child...it's better to have an abortion and lose one life then both. you know? Does anyone agree with me on this or disagree? I hate these insulting, rude, obnoxious spots that are nothing but platforms for mud-slinging between candidates. I change the channel whenever one comes on now. Wouldn't it be better if they showed a commercial with the person's voting record,history, and viewpoints in an unbiased form so that voters would be educated and know WHO they are voting for?
