North Korea is a sovereign state, they are not a US puppet that can be punished for disobedience!

It was the 'punishment' of N Korea that led to them seeking nuclear capabiliy. And achieving it. Their crime was an ideological difference with the west and the punishment was isolation from the world community (with the exception of other communist regimes).

We can no longer 'punish' N Korea. They are now a nuclear power. They're running with the big dogs now and cannot be ignored. Look at Pakistan. Villified and ignored and sanctioned into abject poverty UNTIL they got 'the bomb'. Now they are players on the world stage. That is what N Korea was seeking, and that's what they shall have. We don't have much choice now, do we?

I, personally, am in favor of immediately sending in Army Rangers to steal each and every one of Kim Jong Il's high heeled shoes. That way when he finally meets with GW, King George will look even taller by comparison. We need SOME way to make the US look good again and everyone knows most of us women dig tall guys. I can't think of a better way to get his approval ratings up among female voters age 25-50.

What kind of idiot are you Jake? Who are you to decide what other countries should do nor not? PRK has not harmed anyone, they have not attacked anyone and as far as I know, not planing to attack anyone eitherl. They are just afraid to be treated the same way Iraq was treated and their country becomes a terrorist playgound as todays Iraq is.

So, please, you Americans, look into the troubles of your own country before teaching others to behave.

Keep your polititians on leash so they do not chase innocent childrend and take advantage of them, before telling the world that you are the moral leader of the world.

George now, assuming his yes men are allow to tell him NK said no will most likely say he's in favor of multiple party talks or he's going to take his marbles and go home.

The UN must grow a pair today and invoke sanctions and actually enforce them. If they do not do that The U.S. must seriously consider leaving the U.N. and move forward with actions of our own. N.K. is too unstable and too untrustworthy to let slide on this.
