Is it still manifest today ? What were it's roots? Did it begin in North America? What is it's history? Principles, beliefs, ideals?

The US needs to put the not so obvious facts on the table. "Hey North Korea, we will not attack you, but if you launch ANY pre-emptive nuclear strike on the US, we will wipe N Korea off the map with 100 times the nuclear force. Americans are tired of being threatened and it is time we bring strong language to the table. My point is, let's make these cultures realize that we will not attack but our reponse to an attack will be "catastrophic".

Is anyone else sick of this dinky little country trying to dictate terms to the rest of the world? They have almost a child-like mentality with their view of global politics. I'm hoping that the larger countries like China and Russia decide to impose sanctions against them, but I'm just afraid that it won't really happen as these two world powers are most likely the ones supplying N.Korea to begin with.

Does anybody remember the parody of the Beach Boys hit. It was called "Bomb Iran" to the tune of Barbara Ann? I wish they'd bring it back!

They no longer have such a strong claim for the moral high ground.
I am not going to gloat - having witnessed the Republican led attempt to impeach Clinton. I bet they never thought they'd be in this position.

There were accidents with nuclear plants in the US and in the former USSR. The nuclear experiments in the US did not protect properly people nor the land. Too many countries already have the atomic bomb.

Why should all the rules of conduct towards people be altered by this government and the political parties to give preferential treatment to moslems? Of course everyone has a right to be treated equally but that's not whats happening. It appears that moslems can say almost anything about other religions but must not be criticised or you may be on your way to court. This government should remember that moslems are not a majority and they(the government) may well get their cumuppence at the next election. I for one am fed up with the pathetic bleatings of Blair,Brown and Ruth Kelly on the subject. I now await a crop of comments from you all, constructive ones please!
