There were accidents with nuclear plants in the US and in the former USSR. The nuclear experiments in the US did not protect properly people nor the land. Too many countries already have the atomic bomb.

Nuclear arms will never benefit the world. It will just be a menace because countries do not ensure the safety of the nuclear program. Accident can really happen and are disastrous just like what happened in Chernobyl.

Too many countries had the atomic bomb the moment it was invented. It has never served a useful purpose. But now that it is in existence, how do you stop other countries from acquiring it? How do you decide who can possess it and who cannot?
