Network marketing is also known as multi-level selling or direct-selling.It is operated through door-to-door selling.I t is based on party plan approach.
A host invites some of his friends to a party. Generally the guests are told in advance that a sales person will make a sales presentation. This way the sales person gets attentive listeners. He leisurely presents his sales talk and may also give demonstrations depending upon the nature of product. The sales person begins with sharing information and often ends up not only selling the product but also convinces the audience that they should sell that product and get a handsome amount of commission. In this the network increases. The larger the network, higher the profit.
The products sold through network marketing usually are backed by 30 days/ 100% money refund guarantee. The customers can buy the product at home.

Is a selling and marketing of certain products by sponsoring or
recruiting other sales people to work in a multi level system or like a pyramid structure, wherein the original salesman/marketeer is at level 1, the next recruits say 4 people are in level 2 and these 4 people are recruiting 16 people to be in level 3 and the next 64 people in level 4 and recruitment will go on and on. The original salesman gets his biggest commission from those people recruited under the line. All will received commission based on tiered system. The more recruits the more commission

A business in which a distributor network is needed to build the business. Usually such businesses are also MLM in nature in that payouts also occur at more than one level. Network Marketing is sometimes also used incorrectly to indicate that the business uses a network of product suppliers in order to offer a broader selection of products. It is usually used this way to differentiate themselves as a way to suggest that their program is superior to other such programs.
