As a liberal I do not approve of everything Bill Clinton did. I have never excuse actions I do not approve of. Likewise, I do not approve of Foley's actions nor the actions of those who knew about the problem and failed to act. Admittedly Foley did some good things in his years in office. His indecent activities should not negate those positive things. Now, are you willing to admit that Bill Clinton also did some good things during his tenure in the White House?

Dude, we have got to get past this liberal vs conservative, party loyalty over national loyalty thing and start working together for the good of the country. I'm willing. Are you? If enough of us start putting the nation first and the party second more will join in. It would be a start.

The pardon of a criminal, duly convicted, even if it was because of the criminal's past financial support, is hardly the same as the active pedophilia and its coverup in the case of Foley. And you do remember that Ford pardoned Nixon, BEFORE they could nail him for crimes?

This is not to excuse Clinton's late-hour pardons. But it is to say that referring every Republican misdeed or failure or misstep to something Clinton did or is alleged to have done is childish thinking and an attempt to evade responsibility. And further, thinking people, whatever their political stripe, are getting the message from these kinds of remarks that Republicans are only too aware of their mistakes, have no real excuse, and are responding to criticism with attempts at spin instead of with substance.

Bill Clinton is not a pedophile himself. He does not expouse Far Right Christian rhetoric and has only received sexual favors from women of majority. Bill Clinton may have been foolishly loyal to an old friend. Bush is foolisly loyal to people who are murdering American boys as well as Iraquies. Like dumsfield.
Bush made all these decisions when he walked the beach with Jesus. Jesus always speaks to coke addicted alcholics.
Let us see who he pardons before he becomes impeached.
