I would have given your thoughts some validity if you would have added Democrats too. Did you know there are more rich Democrats in office then there are republicans? Bet ya didn't (shock) Both parties are no longer for the good of America but only for their own good. Votes and our hard earned money is all we are to them. And it's our fault for allowing government to get so big and have so much power, shame on us!

Take a good hard look at the Democratic leadership and ask that question again. They are all rich too. Most came into money by means of exactly that: silver spoon.
Call them rich dummies...I find it amusing that Democrat celebreties do telethons and do marketing for all these "charitable" causes yet they dont use their money (which would likely cover most of their expenses anyway), they take yours.
Mercy toward humanity...I find it amusing that President Clinton and Carter helped negotiate North Korea's nuclear facilities.
I find it foolish for a government to have "mercy toward humanity" when the citizens of said government refuse to do that very thing.
You should be looking to yourself to be a force of kindness and mercy- you cannot legislate behavior. If you could, there would be no homosexuality, no drugs, no alcohol, no speeding, no rich people (according to Democrats), no illegal immigration, no smoking, no abortion (because there wasnt prior to Roe vs Wade), and no reason to get out of bed (via welfare): basicly, take all the choices you have now and toss them away. You will be what they want you to be.
Just because Republicans appear (I stress the word appear) to believe in personal responsibility doesnt mean they arent compassionate.
Self-preservation drives us all- if it doesnt, there is always someone more poor than you are, so give them your sandwich and go hungry- but dont expect the government to do everything because it's childish.
A fool and his money will soon be parted.

Well i look at things different.
I am neither democrat or republican but i vote for who ever i think will run the country better. I have voted republican many times rather then democrat.
Sir you want me to vote for democrat? Then please give me a canidate worth voting for.
prime example kerry he never stood his ground on beliefs of what should be done with the country he just bashed and bashed how can i vote for somebody that doesnt have any of his own beliefs but just talks trash what was his plan with the united states where did he stand?
Matter of fact the reason i vote republican and probably will still do is because democrats seem to just sit there republicans want to move the country foward and although they may not always do well and sometimes they even set the country back such as mr bush. But at least they are willing to make or try to make progress democrats dont do anything when they need a vote nor do they do anything in office they just sit there and let everything that is a problem just sit there
if democrats did something and actually formed a plan i would vote for them
furthermore sure:
i dont believe in abortion unless raped or chance of death
i do not believe in gay marriage
and it seems to me that the democrats want to take this country in to a very imoral demenor nasty way
my vote probably again will be
REPUBLICAN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Your question is so poorly written as to leave considerable question of your own intelligence. That seems to be the norm in the democratic party; if I have seen nothing else, I have seen it as a party that sees its own characteristics in the others: contempt for the poor, racism, obsession with money, corruption, lack of practical intelligence, etc.
It was interesting, last election the democrats were up to their usual BS about how Kerry was the "smart" candidate and Bush was stupid. Turns out someone dug up their IQ scores and found Bush's was 4 points higher.
Keep up making yourself and your party look bad. You have a lot of not-so-bright voters that aren't sophisticated enough to check out your unverifiable comments and that makes you guys formidable in a voting system. We are counting on people like you to drive the more intelligent undecided voters away with your incomprehensible gibberish so keep up the good work.
And no, I am not rich.

Think globally, act locally. Try to improve yourself instead of waiting around for someone to save you. Sounds like you are kind of jealous of rich kids.
