Part of the reason for the national debt has been Big Giveaways.
What's your position on showering other countries with money that can't seem to support themselves?

I communicate (that is, exchange insulting emails) with a conservative Republican on this site who lives in FL. She is convinced that her governor would be a great President.

I don't agree at all, but I need a better argument against him than "No way, no more Bushes."-

So, little help? Please? Why not Jeb Bush???

Do their mommies force them to eat out of the toilet as a child? Do their daddies sodomize them starting at age five?

On Yahoo! News, it says "there is increasing international concern that it wants to enrich uranium to weapons-grade levels for use in the fissile core of nuclear warheads."

Would it be okay if they assembled nuclear warheads another way? Or can't they have nuclear warheads? If the latter, why can other countries? Isn't it just to keep the balance of power in those countries' favour? And the motive of those countries for imposing sanctions against Iran, the will to power? In the guise of morality? And thus hypocritical?

That seems to be the history of the Christian world: wars for the sake of power, but in the name of morality ("truth", "justice", and the like).

If you believe pregnant mothers should put their children up for adoption rather than have an abortion, why haven't you adopted a child?

Or is it that, life is precious until you are born?

I mean, she claims to be a PROUD leftist, concerned about the well being of others, that what makes America great is our social programs.

Here's her question (she's quite the Narcissus, this beach bum):

I've heard that said a few times in a sarcastic way but never heard a response.

I'm referring to anti-abortion republicans btw.

So basically have a baby born into poverty or whatever no matter what then let him or her die of sickness with no healthcare? Or live under a bridge because maybe he/she was not too bright in life and poor? Let him/her die from starvation rather than get food stamps? etc...

Or I know... put the baby into the fostercare system where there are millions of children waiting?

Two times I've been accused of being a non-working liberal when I ask questions about how Repubicans want to reep the rewards of this great nation without paying for the social programs that make it great.

Statistics show:

-The average liberal tends to have minimum of a Bachelor of Science degree (I have 2) and make above average in the middle class range.

-The average conservative does not have any college and usually works in some sort of self-started blue collar business(worker or owner both). IE, electricians, plumbers, construction guys, mechanics, etc...

I'm as far left as you can get and actually only work with I feel like it because of the successful 90s stock market.

Why do they always 'try' to attack the person when they can't argue the issue?

Once and for all, to all you individuals that want Bush impeached. Based on the Constitution, which is the only guide for this action that there is, what are the "high crimes and misdemeanours" that Bush has committed.

Don't tell me anything about lying to anyone. Lying in and of itself is not a crime. You will say Clinton was impeached for it. Yes, he was impeached for lying to a Grand Jury which is a legal crime for which he was convicted and sentenced prior to his impeachment.

Don't tell me anything about an illegal war anywhere because Congress gave him the power to go to war after 9/11, against all terrorism. In that act they also gave him the power to have all the necessary means to fight that war.

So already barring anything related to those two areas what "high crimes and misdemeanours" has Bush committed while in office?

Pleaase bring forth all your proof for the trial as this is the time of discovery!!!!

C'mon Don't get mad now! I am wondering why it is so easy for people to base a opinion on this holocaust crap without ever even doing a lick of research on the subject that isn't jewish propoganda! Most people just assume what the media tells them is gold. Who runs the media people? the Jews. Why does germany still give Israel money all these decades later for the supposed holocaust? were the jews the only ones killed? I think not.

Most people are probably serious about their beliefs and how they think our Government should be run, and if George Bush is good or bad. I sincerely think all of us as middle class Americans have been 'had' by the wealthy and the elite and the powerful.
I bet they think we are a bunch of idiots and they are the only ones that have the judgement to run this Country. Are they right? Are there any people on this site that are wealthy, powerful and part of the elite?

The trend of granting more and more rights to corporations continue today at alarming speed .These ideas are embedd in our legal system and talk about change , is just talk . Why not offer a progressive idea for real reform , like a Constitutional Amendment that would stop the bleeding . ( Taken from Joshua Holland , ported on AlterNet / Corporations Aren't People )
