1. Bush lied to Congress and the American public about the reasons for invading Iraq.
Untrue. Congress saw the same intel reports that Bush did and drew the same conclusions.
2. Bush conducted illegal wiretaps of American citizens.
Just like every other president before him.
3. Bush violated International Law by invading a sovereign country for illegal purposes.
We are not bound by international law.
4. Bush violated the Geneva Convention by torturing prisoners of war.
These prisoners of war were not uniformed members of any recognized armed force of any nation, nor had their superiors signed the Geneva Convention.
5. Bush held prisoners without formal charges and without legal representation.
Again-these are not citizens of this country, nor are they recognized members of any armed force representing another government.
6. Bush used government funds for domestic political propaganda.
Which he could not do without congresses okay.
7. The Bush team used uniformed military personnel for Republican party political purposes.
Newsflash...so did CLinton, Bush 1, Reagan, Carter, Ford....
8. Bush was negligent in his slow response to help victims of Hurricane Katrina.
Not an impeachable offense.
9. Bush shows contempt towards our Constitution and our democratic ideals.
Again, not an impeachable offense.
10. Because he is a freaking embarrassment
So are you.

nicely first of all the form would not enable for a non secular impeachment. "The President, vp and all civil officers of united statesa., would be faraway from workplace on Impeachment for, and Conviction of, Treason, Bribery, or different severe Crimes and Misdemeanors." undecided that any of those have been violated. As for William Jefferson Clinton...the homestead of Representatives impeached President Clinton on December 19, 1998, on grounds of perjury to a grand jury (balloting 228-206) and obstruction of justice (221-212). 2 different articles of impeachment failed — a 2nd count form of perjury interior the Paula Jones case (205-229), and one accusing Clinton of abuse of ability (148-285). The Senate impeachment trial lasted from January 7, 1999, till February 12. No witnesses have been referred to as in the process the trial. A 2-thirds majority, sixty seven votes, could have been had to eliminate the President from workplace. the two rates have been defeated: perjury (40 5-fifty 5) and obstruction of justice (50-50).

Dennis Loy Johnson has worked with lawyers from the Center for Constitutional Right ( CCR ) to create the book, Articles of Impeachment Against George W. Bush-- .It makes the legal case for impeachment.. Despite the media blackout , people from every state in the union have sent copies of the book to their representatives.. There is a grassroots movement around this country that have adopted impeachment resolutions.

I have not seen any constitutional reason for impeachment. Regardless of how you feel about the job Bush is doing, there is no basis for impeachment.
It amazes me that Berkeley CA has passed a resolution to put an impeachment vote on their November ballot. Makes me wonder about the legality of such an assumption of violation of the Constitution.

To answer: None. Here are the claims, here is the revelation of what nonsense these claims carry within them:
Brian W said:
1. Bush lied to Congress and the American public about the reasons for invading Iraq.
A) This is a lie. Clinton said this before Bush was even in office, claiming WMDs as his reason for bombing Iraq. In addition, this was not the only reason claimed, was based on the fact the SADDAM said he had them to his own allies! A murderer tells you he has a gun, you say to your family that you believe him and take action against him, and the family turns on you when the murderer, who has already tried to kill one of your family, turns out to have no gun? That's silly. Learn the difference between a lie and mistake.
2. Bush conducted illegal wiretaps of American citizens.
B) They were not illegal, were cleared. Not court ordered does not mean illegal. That doesn't make it right, but it also doesn't make it illegal. This is the standard, "guilty until proven innocent" nonsese we're seeing throughout the media.
3. Bush violated International Law by invading a sovereign country for illegal purposes.
C) Saddam broke the cease-fire and refused to abide by the agreement for that cease-fire. Iraq and the U.S.A. have been at war since the beginning of the Gulf War I. Afghanastan was the self-proclaimed attacker of the U.S.A. on 911 and claimed responsibility for the attack. You would have us wait until the shout, "We declare war!"? We acted according to international law, which is why they couldn't do anything to stop us other than whine.
4. Bush violated the Geneva Convention by torturing prisoners of war.
D) Despite the recent ruling of the court, everyone who actually has read the Geneva Conventions is clear on the fact that combatents who sneak around, out of uniform, commiting acts of sabotage and killing civilians are NOT COVERED by the Geneva Conventions. In additions, our enemies do not abide by them AT ALL. What kind of traitorous slime would want our hands tied in the face of such an enemy?
5. Bush held prisoners without formal charges and without legal representation.
E) See the Geneva Conventions. These terrorists are not covered by those rules, nor are they required to be. Never have. I'm always amazed that when someone is hated that they are held to rules that never existed before and to standards that no one else is held to. How seditious is that!
6. Bush used government funds for domestic political propaganda.
F) Yes, let's not use the media or any publicity for our defense, while our enemy does it on an ongoing basis. Can you think of a war when this wasn't done? That's absurd. This isn't against the law or impeachable!
7. The Bush team used uniformed military personnel for Republican party political purposes.
G) You mean the Republican party comes out looking better because they're acting more patriotically, and thus Bush should stop having anything to do with the military because he is of the same party? What kind of mind-twisting idea is that? He's the head of the ARMED FORCES! He has to work with them. He has to meet with them. You mean Clinton should not have had the dealings, the show, the parades with the military that HE did? Nonsense. President Clinton and President Bush did fine on this count.
8. Bush was negligent in his slow response to help victims of Hurricane Katrina.
H) This again is a guilty until proven innocent charge that actually ignores the evidence and attempts to pin blame for everything that goes wrong on the person they hate. If they loved Bush but hated Cheney, they would call for Cheney's impeachment. You have no idea what workings went into the activities in the hurricane, and seem to think they owe more than they were required to give. They gave that, acted appropriately, and the seditious Bush-haters decided it wasn't enough. IT'S NEVER ENOUGH if it is Bush. People tried the same with Clinton, but this is just silly whomever it's aimed at.
9. Bush shows contempt towards our Constitution and our democratic ideals.
I) No, this attempt to undermine President Bush and our nation is showing comtempt for our Constitution and our democratic ideals, and unlike the person who wrote #9, I'll show why: First, the claim that he didn't win by claiming the electoral college was bogus is amazing considering they supported the idea and entered the contest with no complaints about UNTIL THEY LOST. This hurts in part because I am a Democrat. It was embarrassing. Second, they decide "He's NOT our President!" What greater contempt can you show to democracy than to deny a lawful election and refuse an elected official his earned position due to the vote? THIS is unpatriotic and undemocratic. The continuous attempt to undermine this President and this country, siding with our enemies, enabling our enemies at every turn, handicapping us against an enemy who not only doesn't care about the Geneva Conventions but also wants to kill, convert, or enslave all of us is utter lunacy, all for political gain!
I call such people traitorous. So would the dictionary.
10. Because he is a freaking embarrassment
No, the silence of the millions of Democrats and Republicans when faced with this seditious and anti-American behavior is what is truly embarrassing.
When did it become fashionable to hate your own country and President?
When did it become fashionable to want to handicap the interests of your own country to level the playing field of the world rather than have a competative society? Since when did we have to cut off a leg to make it easier for a country that has a socialist government to compete?
When did Americans become so utterly lacking in backbone that there aren't a hundred responses to such anti-American sentiments?
I am an American U.S.A. citizen, FIRST. Democrat second. I support our President, but will remain a Democrat and vote Democrat for the most ethical person possible. But I will not stand by and remain silent while anyone undermines MY country.
Why are you remaining silent?

bush has done nothing to deserve impeachment. he has tried to protect the people of the united states regardless of the libs getting in the way of every thing he tries to do. he has to fight against the treasonous media and their undermining of everything he does. our brave men and women have to fight the terrorists AND THE LIBERAL IDIOTS IN THEIR OWN UNITED STATES. ALL THEY DO IS TRASH THE MILITARY FOR PROTECTING THEIR RIGHT TO SPEW THEIR CRAP.
thank you and have a lovely day.
p.s. the un is a disgusting, corrupt body and should be kicked out the the united states.
