What is worse a ******* or a killer?

It's all a movie, ever watch Wag the Dog?
Hopefully we learn from this and start getting good people in and greedy rich suckers out. They just raised (congress) their wages for the second or third time in 6 years, did they take care of the poor first? And they cut off Africa.
I doubted but this is the end of the age dude, read the Mount Olivet speech in the Bible.

The people responsible for the damage in New Orleans are Nagin and the Democratic machine that has run La. since Huey Long. They have known (via the Army Corp. Of Engineers) that the levy would not sustain a category 5 Hurricane for at least 30 years. They refused to do anything. The president cannot simply send Nat'l Guard into a state with out the Governors approval. That approval was sought and denied.
Clinton was not impeached for oral sex! He was impeached for perjury (lying under oath to a grand jury). The same reason he was dis-barred in his home state of Arkansas.

What exactly was Bush, the president, suppose to do for a local federal disaster caused by the weather? You can't be serious. I disagree with 2/3 of what the man does. However, you can't blame him for the weather, nor for the local mishandling of the disaster and disaster relief. They've proven the fall guy for this, the director of FEMA, wasn't actually to blame. The racist comments have also been disproven. In fact, most of the rescued victims were black and most of the rescuers were white. Although 70% of the residents of New ORleans were black, 40% of the deaths were white. Not what the accusers of Bush and Brown mishandling and racism were asserting. As to New Orleans, the mayor was the one proven to have mishandled the situation, and I believe he was voted back in. So, the real question should be, why would they vote him back in after he was proven to be to blame for all that carp in their city?
AND Clinton wasn't impeached for oral sex. It was for something else.

Clinton was not impeached for having oral sex...that is between him and Hillary. He was impeached for lying under oath to the federal government. Granted, it was largely a partisan decision; kind of like it would be now to call Bush to trial for Katrina..etc. And if you call on Bush for his handling of the situation, you have to call on local government officials, etc. I think that this situation could have been handled better, by all involved, not just Bush...he really has very little control over details.

Katrina was New Orelans and the state of louisana's fault.Damn people had 30 years to build those levys up, even had federal money to do just that and instead they blew it all on tourists crap.Everyone has talked for years what would happen there if a major hurricane hit with the soup bowl thing, and how devastiing it would be.They all knew what would happen someday if they didnt build up the levys, but they did nothing, so i say screw New Orleans, let the ocean have it,..

well, first Clinton was proved to have had sex with Monica, Bush on the other hand had underlings who were not qualified to handle the disaster? cant see what it has to do with the price of tea in China???Sex with someone other than his wife when married is adultery and oral sex is usually a chargeable offense? some states illegal, as is adultery? Katrina was a series of events by idiots, compounded by lackadasical effort to respond.and a political struggle to upstage at the state level?hope that helps just my opinion?

Clinton was impeached for lieing under oath in a federal court.
Bush offered help to the governor of La but she refused and then the mayor of New Orleans refused to use the busses that was at his disposal.
Then when it was too late the mayor cried like a baby wanting the help and said that he was not offered any.

The state of LA and the local government of New Orleans is to blame for most of the mishandling of the disaster.

I am appalled that these people given five days of warning could not prepare enough to survive 24 hours on their own.

And Clinton was not impeached.

Because it is not really the Federals Gov job, And doing a bad job is not illegal, just a reason not to vote for someone again,

But if you actually look close ( and that is why there was no formal investigation) you find most of the fault came down to the Mayor and the Governor.

and in the end to the people.

Just like in this last deal in the NE with the flooding, they had mandatory evactuation, but alot of people would not leave.
So whose fault is it, if they get stuck or die ?

Clinton was NOT impeached, but Bush should be. Not for something personal - like cheating on his spouse, but for misuse of power & running this country into the ground

Because the Republican congress can not find the balls to impeach the lying bastard But if Bush were a Democrat they would have moved to have him impeach long ago& and that's a fact jack
