Recently, I asked the question, "If and when WMD's are proven to be in Iraq, what liberal would you want to confront and why?". In the spirit of fairness I am giving the folks on the other side a forum to speak even though I believe WMD's have been found and are in Iraq.

Just playing a little devils advocate.

Please try to give me someone other than GWB which will be the obvious answer for most of you.

Now that doesn't mean my conservative and moderate friends can't react either. Lets have a healthy debate.

Once again, intelligent answers please.

Let the games begin.

So is it possible that doing something illegal is not morally wrong, it's just not conforming to the government's rules?

When politicians like George W. Bush declare a war on terror does he not create a bigger problem? Now anyone who wants to be a somebody thinks they can achieve it by becoming a terrorist. The world is definitely an unstable place since the war on terror began. Are our politicians stirring the pot and making the brew boil too much just to look tough?

I know they've tried, but there are some real problems in a lot of African countries, some much worse than Iraq, so why the special treatment? I assume it's about Haliburton and the oil in the Prez's pockets, but maybe I'm missing something.

It seems that everything Bush claims to represent is in fact the opposite, and every bad thing he accuses other countries of doing is precisely what he's doing - such as, threatening to NUKE IRAN for their wanting to build a nuke, while buddying with Israel, which DOES HAVE NUKES! Or accusing others of having and using weapons of mass destruction, when it is we - as in the movie Terminator - that have the weapons of mass destuction and use them at will without shame or apology.

If this is democracy... someone get me the hell out of here!

I think it's stupid to believe that gay marriages are bad jsut becuase of a religion cuz it's just your belief and not everyone thinks that same way. Also if you truely love someone, you should have the right. I think it's mean to exclude someone and treat them different and not let them have the same rights just becuase there different and love the same sex.... what do you think?

In George Orwells 1984 the government used scare tactics to slowly take away the peoples freedoms. The books government would stage fake bombings and attacks in order to take the peoples privacie's away under the excuse of "national security". It eventually turned into a police state.

Does any of this sound familier? If counter terrorist experts keep telling us that Al-Qeada doesn't plot over the phone. They don't use our banking methods, and they are trained by experts, not trained over the internet. Than whats the excuse for these invasion of privacy's to be taken away?

Could this be the reason Bush isn't really trying to catch Bin Laden? Is Bin Laden the boogey man Bush needs to dwindle down our freedom?

Is ABC news correct when they mentioned that "whenever the Bush administration is caught invading our privacy's, all of a sudden Osama Bin Laden releases a tape right afterwards". If we complain about our pricacy's a scare tactic is then used.

Our is this all coincedence

Why or why not?

With the Supreme Court's decision in the Michigan case, extra points can be given to applicants of certain races. Wouldn't it make more sense to give the points based upon the economic status of the applicants? This way we could help people of all races that grew up with an economic disadvantage (and perhaps had to work to help the family instead of having extra time to do their homework).

Please only answer this question if you have an intelligent response--no rants on how no extra points should be given. Thank you.
